When Ford took an Escort and tried to make it look like a Mustang. I liked the styling. Not many cars looked good during the malaise era but this one had character despite its econobox roots.

It never came with a blower from the factory, that one you posted seems ridiculously overpriced

i have an F150 with that same base 4.6L V8, it's actually a far supperior motor to the aluminum 5.4L block.

These early 2000's motors had a problem with the spark plugs loosening themselves and shooting out the head, due to the retarded cap over plug system. With the aluminum blocks though you were fucked if it happened. With the 4.6L i've actually blown 2 plugs out of my motor while driving and my mechanic was able to heli coil them back in, where as the 5.4L i think you actually had to pull the head and re-sleave the spark plug cylinder

Ha, I used to want one when I was little. My neighbour and his sons worked at the local Ford dealership and the oldest son had an Escort GT in all black.

Also, the price changes on a weekly basis. I bet the price changed from when you last posted it

The ‘88 GT is such a wicked looking car. My buddy just bought a ‘85 Fiero. 50,000km. The only dirt on it is his dirty ass moustache.

I was tempted by those M45 years ago. Only sold for 03/04 in North America. You could get the Cedric/Gloria versions in Japan etc. They were actually faster than the Q45 because they were lighter.

I sold my 02 Q45 for about $5k around 7 years ago. Had about 165kms. Rode like a couch with plenty of torque. Power rear sunshade and manual rear window shades.

I do like big body Nissans, but I like the newer M35/M45

the M45 with the OEM kit was perfect

With the OEM grill

Perfect that OEM+ look with the 370z wheels

I want to say less then $3000. This is in Ontario. Despite being an older undesireable model, I told him to hide it in a shed and bring it to Barrett Jackson in 20 years lol.
