Pretty sure when the weather is nicer and everyone is out on their bikes, the police will be going after them too. |

As mentioned above ^, most bikes are off the road for winter. But yes, the facebook riding groups confirms that bikes are getting stopped left...right...and center for anything and everything =) So just stay clear of Vancouver =) |
And here I was thinking to insure my bike in the summer when I come back to visit... :heckno: :inoutugh: |
Just earlier today, I think a white frs with a big wing, Alberta plate, got towed. YOHB? |
Most likely 40 over? Doubt they’d tow an Alberta plate for mods. |

Was reaaaaaally looking forward to getting an exhaust for my bike this year. I guess I might as well just save the money instead.... |

Box 1 flashing 4th brake light and 3" tip (on a 2.5" exhaust). Apparently Buckingham and Cain was ok with the big wing and was told the car was not loud. |
Yah and he’s on temp permits the Alberta plate is just for show. Not sure why he’d do the flashing rear brake light that’s a big one they were harping on last year… |
Same dude that got VI'd in is driveway lol. |

Good riddance... |
Yah this guy wasn't doing modern policing any favours... just another old man yelling at clouds now. |
https://scontent.fyvr3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...fg&oe=621555A6 I have just received the 2021 VI statistics from the VPD via an FOI request. While the overall total is not particularly eye catching one way or another, the monthly figures show an interesting trend when you take into account the chain of events that took place last year. 2018 – 758 VI’s issued 2019 – 1544 VI’s issued 2020 – 932 VI’s issued 2021 – 1038 VI’s issued Enforcement efforts were very aggressive in the first 5 months of 2021. As June came around, however, we got hit with the deadly heat dome late in the month. The heat continued in July, along with wildfires that contributed to some horrible air quality. And then as September came, we saw large scale anti-vaccine protests in the city. Then everyone got hit with the absolutely disastrous atmospheric river in November, and cold temperatures + heavy snowfall in December. The way I see it is, this extremely unfortunate string of events has artificially lowered the VPD VI numbers back down to pre-Sept 2018 levels. We live in a crazy world now, and there is no telling what the VI situation is gonna be like in 2022. We know Christensen has retired from policing early this year, but I’m sure he has trained up a bunch of new recruits eager to prove their VI knowledge… 🙄 Stay safe and VI-free out there. Maybe I should just throw in the towel, get an EV and call it a day… 🤦🏻 Numeric count of the VI’s that were given out by VPD from 2018 – 2021 are available here in a spreadsheet format: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing |
Christensen is now a ranting retiree on tweet about the mayor and CoV....Maybe he wants to run office in the next election! |
They still doing this nowadays ?! My Lexus guy warned me that Cain and friends still patrolling around the terminal science world area |
^he give you a free VI with car purchase? |
hahah no, but the dealership guys warned me that he might. They've heard a few incidents of guys driving out of the burrard supercar row and that MF was right there ready to give out box 2's even though he knew damn well most of those exotics were stock. |
