I've been using my Arizer Solo since Friday, and it is awesome. The MFLB was a good intro into vaping. It was simple, and just used rechargeable AA batteries. The Solo is superior in almost every aspect. I just set the temp, and vape away. It automatically shuts off after 12 min.

Unlike the MFLB, the temperature control is automatic, so there's little danger in combusting the herb. The Solo appears to heat evenly. When I empty the bowl, the color of the vaped her looks consistent.

I put a screen in the stem because I was getting little chunks of herb drawn into the tube. Cleaning it is easy. Salt + iso alcohol cleans the stems, and a qtip cleans the heating element.

The battery lasts a decent amount of time. From full to empty the Solo gets at least 90 min of heating. If the battery goes dead, I can plug it in, and use it while it's charging.

This my new goto for 420. The MFLB still has it's place, though. The Solo is just big enough that it's not easy to carry around discretely. However, the MFLB is small enough to put in my jeans pocket, and I can use it in public without looking overly conspicuous. Plus, the MFLB has lifetime warranty. As long as the company is around, I'll be able to get a new box if it dies.

Keep in mind to never drain the battery completely before you re-charge, otherwise it will significantly shorten the lifespan of your battery. You should re-charge when it's down to 3 to 4 bars left.

I went from MFLB to Solo as well and ended up selling the MFLB, as I found it too cumbersome to use.

Next up will be a desktop vape like the Herbalaire H2.2 for me, anyone have experience with that?

It really all depends. People have a tendency to panic because they are not sure what to expect and it hits them hard and they don't understand whats happening. If you're a nervous/anxiety prone type of person it may trigger those feelings; hence the trip out.

I found that it allowed me to concentrate on something and go down the rabbit hole with that thought. Makes your body feel funny like Ulic mentioned. Kinda cool in that way but I didn't like it because I was always trying to "grasp" what was going on instead of just letting it ride. It left me feeling not in control and kinda nervous. I did them about 10 times back in my late teens and only a couple times were good. The rest of times I felt like I was fighting it and just wasn't into it at all. The most important thing is to make sure you are very content with your surroundings as that will play the biggest role. Camping with some peeps with everyone doing them would be the ideal setting. Same with at a house party or something.

I go to Cannaclinic on Hastings and Nanaimo always 30-50 strains, good service and their "doctors appt" was a joke lol

And I've been very happy with all the cron I've picked up, especially the sativas.

I don't really get people who go into the dispence and are always asking for X strain etc. I've yet to buy the same strain twice because they always hVe like 10 brand new super fresh strains. Why buy some old shit when u get super fresh stuff? Might as well try somthing new.

Also I've been taking down some "smoking notes" recently as well for future reference lol

I got my card at Natural Releaf there a new dispensary on fraser king edward they have onsite doctor from 1-5pm today you should check them out.

Ancient 2,400-year-old gold bongs discovered in Russia - Archaeology - Science - The Independent

The “once-in-a-century” discovery of a set of solid gold bongs has offered a glimpse into the little-understood lives of Scythians, who ruled vast areas of Eurasia for a thousand years 2,400 years ago.

Ornately embellished with depictions of humans and animals, archaeologists found the golden vessels in a vast grave mound in the Caucasus Mountains of southern Russia, where the Scythians ruled between 9th century BC and 4th century AD.

They were discovered inside a chamber lined with stones and hidden with clay, alongside 7lbs of other gold items, including a finger ring, two neck rings, and a gold bracelet, MailOnline reported.

Anton Gass, an archaeologist at the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation in Berlin, told National Geographic: “These are among the finest objects we know from the region.

"It's a once-in-a-century discovery," he said.

Analysis on a sticky black residue in the golden cups revealed the objects were used to hold a concoction of opium and cannabis, which mirror the writings of Greek historian Herodotus, who said: “Scythians used a plant to produce smoke that no Grecian vapour-bath can surpass which made them shout aloud.”

The bongs were discovered in 2013, as the burial ground, or kurgan, was cleared to make way for a power-line.

Experts hope the highly detailed scenes which decorate the objects - including an elderly bearded man killing young warriors and griffons attacking a horse and a stag – will shed light on Scythian culture.

no price increases at Cannaclinic as of yet..

i have a feeling though something is going to hit the fan with the dispensaries in the east village area there though. Cannaclinic was the first one in that area, then shortly after "EggsCanna" opened fucking 2 doors down, now theres a ghetto ass looking place that just opened up near Kamloops street that is basically a white board that says "Dispensary" on it..

lots of young families in that area and it would be one thing if it was just cannaclinic etc. but it's kinda getting out of hand there
