yup,it's pretty much cut with a thickening agent Vitamin E Acetate that clogs the lungs,it's not meant to be combusted at 320 degrees and turns into a carcinogen....scientists were saying its like putting plastic wrap around in your lungs.


not only that but nobody knows where the weed coming from and how its grown in USA.....Mexican cartels use Rat Poison to keep the pests away and even on the plant its self to keep Bugs off......Lot of the OG smokers get their shit crossed over into mexico from L.A.

only concentrates I smoke now is solventless hash rosin which is $$$ but sooo terpy and worth it considering stuff, time and effort put in to make it.

nothing but ice/water hash dry sift, then dry and heat pressed.

anyone using a dry herb vaporizer and have a good recommendation? looking at the pax 2/3 right now, looking for something sleek

I have the Pax 2, it’s great.

For 1 person it’s fantastic and about as much as you can ask for such a small portable unit. It’s the “Apple” of vaporizers IMO

You can probably get a harder hitting more effective vape but it won’t look nearly as nice or be as portable. You can easily slip the pax in your pocket for a night out etc and you can usually get 2 nice sessions out of it before it’s done.

Have the Arizer solo 2. Great vape and price isn't too bad compared to others. Pax/Crafty/Mighty are also great but cost more.

i have a solo 2 and its good for regular old home use,fits inside my backpack,Pax 3 is more stealthy & compact that can fit inside your coat pockets


also you don't have to worry about snapping any glass stems on it unlike the solo 2 if you accidentally drop it....that's the only downside of the solo 2,the bulkiness & glass stem...but its flavor city since only glass is touching your herb on solo


just depends if you care about size and how much you want to spend.

money no option > pax 3 all the way.

on a budget with best bang for your buck > solo 2.

This is going to sound real dumb. Just need some guidance more than anything else.
Anyways, I've been a "light" smoker (weed) for a good 10yrs; having switched to cartridge vaping (bought in local stores) for the past few years.
Since theres sonmuch on the news lately about vaping THC, I'm thinking of switching to another method.

My main concern is smell and being able to discreetly do it indoors.
Now, are there any alternatives to getting high off THC other than lighting up a joint or bongs?

Sorry for the noob question. I've just never bothered to try weed other than the above methods.
Tho I'd ask here rather than a weed shop.

The dry herb vapes we are discussing above are probably the healthiest option that is the most discreet outside of concentrates. They definitely still have a bit of a “weed” smell but I find it to be very mild and it dissipates almost immediately.

Ie. I can have a few pulls sitting at my desk working on my computer, leave the room or gave my wife come in shortly after and there isn’t noticeable smell at all, and she doesn’t smoke

Vape shatter. It's safer than vaping those mystery cartridges and less smell than vaping weed.

Living in a condo I dont want my neighbors complaining. Even smoking a doob outside I still wreak when walking through the lobby.

Vaping shatter in the washroom with the fan on is my goto method for now.

shatter is currently under the microscope also, a lot of people are getting stuff cut with pine resin, and it leaves a white gunk in bongs and rigs.

Currently the trend is solvent less extracts, but some are still having issues...

That was fast. Herbalizestore.ca delivered my Volcano in 2 days. I've been vaping with my Solo for 4 years, and this is an awesome upgrade. The pulls from the bag are effortless and as much as you can handle. My wife makes fun of the bag because she thinks it looks like I'm huffing solvents. She'll change her mind when she takes her first hit, though ;)

possible theory but i think each and everyone's Biological makeup is different and its not a blanket cure all for everyone,each person might have a different reaction to CBD..

I would still be wary of shatter; as others have already mentioned, it's still a solvent-based extraction method and based on how good the extractor's methods/equipment are you may still have residuals left which could be harmful for you. Not to say solventless extractions don't have it's own issues (if the plant was not flushed properly before extraction, you could also end up with pesticides) but in general, just go with known names or trustworthy companies

I've saw shatter that they've tried re-using a whole old pile of already processed cannabis plant,there was bits of plant inside the shatter and almost tar black in color,they still packaged it and tried getting away with it.

A month into my daily CBD dose, about 10 days ago I went up from 20mg to about 30mg per day. I also have stopped drinking and blazing during this time so it’s not exactly a “controlled” experiment, as I’m sure alcohol causes crazy inflammation lol

However, since I upped it to 30mg I’ve pretty much not noticed my previous back tension at all. I have a slightly herniated disc in my lower lumbar which I’ve had to actively maintain to relieve pain and tightness through the gym and stretching and usually even with the maintenance I usually end up feeling it tweak here and there or feel it get tight throughout the day. Since about 15 days ago I haven’t noticed it once

Good to know. I've been trying to cut down on smoking so much high CBD strains and mostly smoking Charlottes Web here and there to try to get more focussed, but don't have any pains or problems so CBD's touted affects I haven't been able to try myself

New legal dispensary in the hood at Hastings and Nanaimo, EggsCanna finally got their licence and opening. Went Saturday night with no one in there and talked to 2 excellent employees about the store etc.

They are allowed -zero- outside advertising. You don’t even know what the store is until you go in. They only currently have a non descript cloth banner on the top of the store

All the govt. shit continues to be old and dry af. Even after the woman working there told me most of their flower was freshly packed it was still terribly dry to the point that I wouldn’t buy it again.

Edibles are going to be limited to an insanely low 10mg per purchase due to them figuring a 1mg dose is a “safe” dose if a child was to eat it. In comparison Cali is selling individual brownies with 1000mg per brownie.. They are going to try and have an “edibles lounge” with live music in the space next to the store front lol

Most expensive and strongest strain they have on hand is Seth Rogans full indica “backyard” or back porch or something. $45 for an eighth I would have bought it when I was inside just to Make a point if it had been dry. I will likely ask if it’s ok to open the canisters in front of the employees just do demonstrate whether the product is completely dry or not.

It’s a really nice space and probably one of the nicer dispensaries I’ve been into in Vancouver (have never been to any other legal govt. one)
