Thanks for the tips. I gotta find a way to trick my lungs into doing it properly. When I was trying it the 3rd time I did feel burning in my throat so I thought for sure I did it properly.

I don't think I'll take the route of trying cigarettes first though.

is the vapor genie any good?? i want to get a vaporizer for convenience and so i don't mess up my cardio but im not sure what to get

It takes a fair bit of time to get used to because you control the temperature by the rate that you breathe in. The taste will reflect if you are heating at the optimal temperature. Once you have mastered this, you will be getting good rips enough to get you flying. The smell isn't too strong, you can easily mask it (I smoke this in my room with little ventilation). I also collect the vaped bud and turn it into edibles once I have enough. Plus, they have a lifetime warranty & support on their vaporizers. I've already been sent several replacement filters

It's not hard to clean this one at all. What I usually do is place it in a zip lock bag with salt, add in rubbing alcohol and just shake it for a couple of seconds aaand Voila! All the resin & dirt easily comes off. I find that if you use by yourself, it doesn't get too hot. Sorry man, no solution to save $$ on lighters. Let me know if you have any
