When I was the son's age I was running up to police officers in order to get Kamloops Blazers hockey cards. That is the kind of positive relationship all kids should have with the people tasked with protecting the community. So sad.

I like how the police statement says that one officer was rendered unconscious from being hit by a water bottle and took several days paid rest to recover

Wheatcroft and his wife were both charged with aggravated assault. Court records show that she pleaded guilty to a lesser charge; Wheatcroft's lawyer said all charges against his client were dismissed. Police said they found "a usable quantity of methamphetamine within the vehicle." https://abc11.com/man-tasered-11-tim...wsuit/5129551/

The police and the city of Glendale said a lot of stuff in this event that obviously wasn't true. And if it was true, why exclude a legit felony when you're filing phony aggravated assault charges?
