Where to find whole pieces of grass fed lamb or beef?
Im going to use animal fat for my cooking oil. Grass fed animal fat makes for really good cholesterol for humans.
I went to Windsor and Jasmine meats but no luck... at Windsor meats they actually sell pre-made beef fat, tallow.
A Problem is that hormones, antibiotics and other toxin end up in the fat of animals so its best to avoid the major factory farmed ones.
Ideally I would like to buy the rump of a clean grass fed lamb... that particular part has the most fat apparently.
Are your sources grass fed?
At the library they have a catalog of every business in B.C. I wonder if I can find all the nearby farms and see if they have websites for the kind of meats they offer.
I went up to a cute chick and asked her if she'd let me take a photo of her for $30 she slapped me, she said to me that "I AIN'T A WHORE!"
But other than that I have seen every car on display in DTP just by cruising about in Richmond, thank you very much for collecting them together and get someone to sing a cover for "fuck you".
OH FUCK YOU OH OH OOOOH~

Yup. I've only ordered from them a couple of times and I wasn't able to selectively choose any of the cuts. They have "packages" so a couple of steaks and some chuck, or rib and some chuck etc etc.
However the meat is. Fucking. Incredible.

Awesome. Gonna order a batch to try it out.
Seriously, I haven't eaten any proper beef after leaving Argentina.
The problem with North American cattle is that they butcher them too late.
Even prime beef in US/CA are considered old cows (novillo) by Argentinean standard. (main measurement is by weight, where US/CA standard is double of Argentina). Not to mention they even have what's called "lechera" or cows that still so young that their meats are almost white like porks and never had any grass in their life yet (only milk)

Yea, nothing like free range meadow-grazed cows, or pigs/lambs from small farms. They treat the animals well and feed them quality or natural (in the case of grass fed cow) stuffs.
Every other meat I buy from the store now just feel inadequate.
Meals cooked with lard/tallow are also incredible.
You also help support local biz if you're into that kind of thing.

Oh really?
I'm thinking you have other, more sinister uses for all that rendered fat.
