And no, that's not how it works. He's going to send you a certified letter detailing everything and asking you for your reply and the time that he can expect a reply, but I'd have to pay him $$$ for his trouble. And if you just hang up/turn down on him, that's still $$$ that I have to pay.
I'm not trying to cheapen out on the deal, but I want to get my $$$ worth. I know EXACTLY how lawyers work. Used to work in an office and dealt with legal stuff daily. You can call your lawyer and see if what I'm saying is true but ultimately, you'd have to answer those questions anyway in order for us to process this whole ordeal.
And if you are already trying to waste as much time now without a lawyer, I can't imagine what it would be once I lawyer up. Just trying to avoid my lawyer to charge me for unnecessary time.

This is a great analogy for the whole HK movement. Most of these "kids" are just a bunch of fucking blow hard's. when push comes to shove, they wont do anything. when you actually want them to sacrifice their own financial securities and physical safety they'll disappear like a fart in the wind. Say what you will about us mainlanders, we are FUCKING CRAZY and will take it to the ends of the earth. Very much like the Japanese in that sense.

Failure to complete the terms of the agreement should just result in the termination of the contract and the funds returned to the original parties. The funds are meant for the ticket, which is conditional on him getting his Chinese citizenship. It makes no sense that he be entitled to anything when he can sabotage his own application (or the subsequent process).
Badhobz is just trying to waste people's time and money. Even if he goes so far to make the application, there is no guarantee he will act in good faith later on, or for anyone to ensure he does so.  Quote:
