The first time I went was on a weekday with decent weather, no rain at all and not too hot. I kid you not there were zero lineups for anything the entire time I was there on the PNE side.

I would hope any self respecting person wouldn’t lol..stand out in the rain and shit to make $20 when a family spends the entire day there. Not worth it.com

On average each house has 2 spots to sell @ $20 a pop for literally 5 mins of work and if they leave half day you get a 2nd round x 2. That's $80 a day for 10mins or less of work times 2 weeks each a nice banquet dinner. Those times however are gone, you actually have to stand out there for a while now and may not even get 1 car.

Does anyone know if they still have those Beast refillable cups this year? My red one is three years young, but looking a bit worn out. It’s time for a new one. If they don’t anymore and the new cups are a funky, useless shaped one, then I’ll take my old Beastie with me on Tuesday.

Have heard and seen stories of the elderly people selling their spots right off Renfrew and then when they bait somone in they take 10 minutes to walk up the back alley guiding a car halfway back towards nanaimo lol.
If you want to park for free and walk, anywhere within 2 blocks of nanaimo is generally open and under 10 minute walk. Don’t worry about the permit signs, there are no permits

legit saw someone selling their street parking spot as they were leaving on opening weekend
btw anyone know if that game where the guy guesses your age/weight and if not close enough gives you a prize is back this year? easiest game to win something at

Man they fucked up with the game where you have to hang your body on the rung for a minute and a half or whatever.
Last year you won $100 if you could do it. We sat in the beer garden and watched literally hundreds of people attempt it from your biggest jacked buddy guy to lean ripped yoga types and no one could do it, probably fucking raked in the money
Now if you do it you only get a fucking large plush toy :/

they still pay out $100 on a $20 buyin for the game, if your buyin is $5 then you win some plush toy. They do give you a small plush toy if you do hang on for 60 seconds or longer.

As someone who works out a lot I might have a slightly better chance than your avg joe but even then I'd get destroyed. I was at the gym this morning and was hanging from the pullup bar stretching and thought let's see how long I can hold for. Probably after like 10 seconds I was dieing haha

been going to the opening weekend for the past couple of weeks
best time to go imo. always slow in the first couple of nights and no line ups for anything
i always go for the 2nd time with a big group instead of just being my girl and the last week if brutal.... so many fucking people and unbearable. Everyone goes last minute because they are panicking that its closing in a couple of days
Had gators 2 for 1 special + beans
they overflowed my corner slot of pulled pork and looked like I had too much....... I love that they over stuff the meat inside my boxes

wasn't PNE but another place and they tasted like nothing 
not sure if cheap flour or too much water that time,so was wondering if PNE's standards are better.
