What recourse is needed? Unless there was damage to the persons car why do they feel like they are owed something? Shit way worse than that happens to people every fucking day. Take pride in the fact that you're a better person and get on with your life.
Is the time spent trying to ruin someone's life over that worth the effort? Why is it always the losers of the world who have time to seek people out that they don't even know on social media and go bat shit crazy on them? I guess successful people are too busy getting actual shit done.
This whole movement is a joke, I guarantee all these people who want to seek and destroy have skeletons in their closet that would make them shit their pants if they found it was on video.

Unfortunately I can confirm all of this. Especially hanging out with my female friends who speak Mandarin/canto. Usually we’ll be walking somewhere and her body language will obviously change to anger. I’ll have no idea what’s going on ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ until she translates

My good buddy is flip. Jacked and covered in tattoos. Him and his family went to Aberdeen at one of the Chinese restaurants for dinner around 6:00. The hostess immediately said to him "sorry sir, dim sum finished at 2:30" before he could even get a word in. He replies "I KNOW that, I'm here for dinner". Racist af but also fucking hilarious hahah. I laughed so hard when he told us the story.

we've all got our stories when it comes to racism. no one is immune. me, I was one of 3 asian kids in a classroom of about 40 in Calgary. I've heard plenty of racist shit as a child. So glad to live in Richmond since the mid 90's.

My ex is Chinese, and I look white, and I can confirm this too except she had no idea because she can't speak canto/mando, but I do, for me tho I'm just like /shrug I may say something in Chinese just so they know I know, otherwise it's like meh

You need to have a thick skin to live in a multicultural place like Vancouver. There are shitty people of all different races/beliefs. I just try not to stereotype as there’s a lot of good out there as well. Way more good than bad apples in my experience.
Before anyone gets offended, I identify myself as primarily Dutch because of my last name despite being quite the shit-mix by now, including First Nations. But I’m stubborn af so wooden shoes, wooden head, wouldn’t listen = Dutch
