I pay $35 a month that includes all the major sports and regular cable channels. I value live sports way more than shows and movies that can be downloaded through torrents.

All major sports have their own streaming. MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL, even F1. It's not that cheap, NFL is like $250 USD for a season, although if you VPN through India it's half that lol (you don't have to watch via VPN, only subscribe)
NHL center ice is blacked out for local broadcasts
Also their app and the browser window seems know when you are casting to an Apple TV etc because the app works perfect on a phone or iPad but the second you try to cast it it shits the bed, like it works so poorly I can only suspect there is some programming to try and prevent it.
I’ll pay for the convenience of not having to worry about a stream etc. And just flick the TV on and watch

Not that I'm for it but I wonder if they would ever use a consumption model.
For sports for instance I only watch the seahawks yet I'm technically being priced for access for all the other games available that week. You could watch 5 full games a week for $250 USD where I only really care about 1 game/week.
There are weeks where I dont even open netflix.
Also it was mentioned earlier but netflix is taking a real look into account sharing across households. I read they may be looking into device caps.

I am pretty sure is easy for them to find out how many device is using the same account at any given time. They should do what spoofity does. You can either get a family plan where you have have 4 device streaming at once or an indiviual account.

I think the plan allows for 4 devices to stream at the same time (the 15.99 plan i believe it is) already, but they're most likely banning it based on IP address. Like I'm in Vancouver, and you're in HK using it at the same time.
for anyone that does subscribe to disney+ go through itunes store to buy. if you use the costco $80 for $100 gift card as payment it comes out a lot cheaper

NFL used to offer single team subscriptions but unfortunately they don't anymore. Seems like it would have been perfect for you
Used to be so much simpler when it was just Netflix... now I only have Amazon Prime because I wanted free shipping. I've only used it for streaming a couple of times.
Went back to torrenting instead. With software like Sonarr and Radarr, I don't even have to visit the torrent sites anymore.
It's just easier for me, don't have to figure out which service streams what, don't have to sift through the crap to get to what I want to watch, don't have to wonder if what I'm watching is still going to be there the next week, etc...

Simpsons is missing the MJ episode "Lisa it's Ur birthday", Simpsons eps are cropped 16:9 too, so the first 20seasons look weird
This is because it was revealed a little while back that Michael Jackson was indeed the voice of the character in this ep. And after the release of Leaving Neverland, Fox decided to pull the ep indefinitely
Samsung smart tv owners had huge issues with the streaming app,Blacked out screen with subtitles going, color banding issues of the video ruining on them, they kept having to reboot the app the entire show.
said it was a nightmare and kinda pissed as hell paying for something broken.

They have the new muppet babies (CGI show) and muppet movies and that adult muppet series that was on abc? for a bit, not the old muppet babies cartoon
The older 90s Disney shows look worn, old dvd/VHS quality for some of them, I dunno if kids nowadays could be drawn into it
