Washed, waxed, oil changed, and maybe put away for a couple weeks. We'll see how the weather is.

I always wonder how these cars in HK can pass the inspection or road block.

Where do you get tires that small for a mini that are DOT approved?

It has to be empty before you can change it. I was just planning ahead.

They usually have specific road blocks to target mods. Usually you get VI'd just like Vancouver but I think it's not as strict to pass. And there are usually leniency, just imagine trying to bring a cut up RWB back to stock? Not ever going to happen. I tend to avoid those areas myself. I've never had trouble with random cops on the street yet.

Rarely do you get that one Cain-looking cunt who's got a chip and his shoulder making it a personal vendetta against modded cars. HK cops play it safer, there is this story floating around of a stock GT3RS that got towed. Guy had too much money and time on his hand and sued the traffic dept and made sure the traffic cop was hassled.

How do you like the floor finish? Did you have it done or was it like that when you moved in? I'm looking to do the same.

I had it done, professionally. The time and cost over DIY was totally worth it. It was my 1 splurge in this reno. This garage is going to stay relatively clean (I have another shop space for real work). I'll have it setup as my daughter's dance area and my office too. So far, so good. The real test will be after a few years of use, if it discolours or lifts at all.

Polished up the vert and the other coupe and tucked them away til spring.

Crossflow? Hah. The 25k+ I meant to spend on a crossflow head fell out of my pocket. Had to settle for this one. :p

A few mods to the winter whip. Bilstein coilovers w/ remote resi, wheels and 35" tires. Also, I sold the Mustang. I had planned on ordering one of the GT500's, but I want the weekend car to be a stick. I really want a 3-5 year old GT3, but they're above my budget. Couple years hopefully I can buy one. Suggestions for now?
