My bad, reading the original post and the comments it sounded like it just had a tune and an intake. The video was from nearly 3 years ago so maybe it was pre-supercharging, idk.

You might be right. He's posted a lot on MR2oc as well.

Since the Genesis got a VI 2 years ago, I've been yearning for a new vehicle to build. Ended up impulse buying a new 6speed Tacoma last fall to fulfill my camping/4x4 needs.

@kdmofo why do front plates always fold up when you drive into water? Same thing happens with my RS

Fafine 03-10-2020 11:39 AM

Best to remove the front plate lol I lost mine in a mud puddle last month

The bow wave you push with the vehicle bend the plate.

Yeah, the main reason of the impulse buy was 1. the colour 2. technology package and 3. It was a 6 speed.

Everyone and they mother had the Cement grey, but I liked this colour more and the fact that I found it with everything I wanted made me buy it.

The colour looks different in every type of lighting.

Cavalry blue?

Just noticed the bumper cut, I actually kinda like it.

donjalapeno 03-11-2020 09:59 PM

I agree. That bumper cut is a sweet DIY mod.

That’s what it is! Kept looking at it but not *really* knowing if it was normal or not

This thing is an absolute gem. The bluelink for autostart makes me favor it over the Type R in the mornings.

donjalapeno 03-13-2020 08:48 PM

It definitely looks more mature and polished than the Type R. The Type R is over-designed imo but then again I guess the Veloster N is more comparable to the Type R.

Wanted to emulate a brochure pic in the last one :)

The KM are legit. One family owned and it came with a huge stack of receipts including original bill of sale.

Still sorting some things but this car is as tight as it was when it left the factory. The more I read about these, the more I wanted one.

Surrey certified, rebuilt, and previous owner tinted the front windows :lol

The price was fair, and the car is reasonably sound mechanically. Had it for a bit now, no ragrats yet. It's heavy being an XS (AWD with sport pkg), but at least it has the 7AT instead of the 5AT in earlier model years.

Just have to straight pipe it, black out the tail lights, and plastidip the wheels next

Moving up I see. Where dafuq u been?
