the series is loosely based on the true story of Isaac Wright Jr., who was imprisoned for a crime that he did not commit. While incarcerated, he became an attorney and helped to overturn the wrongful convictions of twenty of his fellow inmates, before finally proving his own innocence.
I loved Saved by The Bell, rushing home from school to catch it...
but I feel this just for nostalgia factor... or I dunno if it's because I'm much older now but this new series looks cringe.

lol yeah, but I'm still going to give it a look just for nostalgia, it's on the women's network up here, so that's already telling me it'll be cringe lol
I tried to watch WandaVision, totally not my cup of tea. My friend told me it gets way better by episode 4... I'm struggling to watch episode 2 lol ...

I'm with you. I saw the preview and decided right there and then, the show is not for me. Judge a book by its cover or what?
Resident Alien is the show where I just can't wait to watch the next episode. Like every other show nowadays, it'll most likely just go stupid................

just skip to 4, dont think you need to watch the first 3 to understand. i almost gave up on it, but 4 onwards got really interesting

I had it on as background noise but couldn't even watch it, fast forwarded a couple eps n stopped bothering
But I heard it gets good, so gave it a shot, by the end of 3 and by 4 on it gets much better, but still meh imo
If you've read the xmen comics at all you'll know where they're going with this, and you'll know for certain when a familiar character appears
But tbh you could probably skip the series and just wait for the next Dr strange movie, where it'll come to a head
Ok I've pushed ahead to episode 3 now, mostly while multi-tasking and felt like I didn't miss anything remotely important at all.
IMO they could have compacted all 3 episodes into like half an episode... they dragged on the "I Love Lucy" chapter for way too long and has been completely been a non-factor in any future plot? I'm sure it has turned off a lot of viewers by episode 2.
I would have totally gave up if my friend didn't keep bugging me to keep watching, he promises it gets better haha ... I guess I'll watch episode 4 tonight.

I wouldn't totally skip right to Ep. 4, since the first 3 episodes lays the groundwork for the ones afterwards, and stuff will start coming together from Ep. 4 and on. But you can probably skim through them.
They are a bit lame, but I enjoyed them for what they are.
Reviewers praised it though, so marvel should be happy with that unless they paid for those
I thought it was cool, not knowing anything going in. I grew up watching Leave it to Beaver and shows like that, and Brady Bunch, etc. So it was neat to see them do a few episodes like that.
If they didn't go all in with this, the story wouldn't have as much impact as they revealed what was going on. So I can see why all the people saying they skipped the episodes, or had them on in the background while making dinner, don't like the show. The reviewers probably actually watched it, so were able to enjoy the subtle developments into what it became.
It's pretty much the only thing the MCU has done well since Winter Soldier IMO. And people are skipping it because they don't have the patience and want more simplicity. *shrug*

I knew what to expect going in, but hoped, and didn't want, it to go on for so long.
I loved those old shows too, but just couldn't stomach a reimagining of that, felt like I was being played lol
I did notice the subtle glimpses of "reality" peaking thru, but again just felt like I was being led on, and I feared it'd go on for the whole season, which made me want to pay even less attention to it
I'm glad we're getting more main story than camp tho

Just watched some of the pilot episode of Superman & Lois. Looks promising. Stupid PVR started to do the funky chicken and cut out in the middle of it.

Law student turns to escorting to help pay her bills. The first half of the season is mostly setting up the back half of the season where everything comes together. I really enjoyed it because the plot was believable and the lead actress is hot.
Season 2 was garbage and I haven't started season 3.
