it seems everything is in 10's now. i just binged Star Trek Picard in a day, lol.
I think the rise of streaming is what got networks on to a 10 episode season. They get that people will want to binge, that good content over a short amount of time is better than mediocre content over a longer period, and that fewer episodes means cheaper production costs.
I, for one, am grateful for the departure of the 25 episode season. I watched Dawson's Creek because I'd never seen it before and I was floored when I saw how long/how many episodes there would be. At the end I can't believe that Joey ended up

Just watched Walking Dead - Out There, or whatever the hell the new series is called. So many stupid decisions and moves. Chick with the pop out of socket eyes and eyebrows......... lights the tar on fire with a Zippo lighter. Instead of lighting something with it, she throws the lighter into the tar. Now you don't have a lighter anymore. Plus, the flame could have gone out. It's hollywood....... like the million times you could have escaped, but you stop to go back for a bunny rabbit or a fucking teddy bear.

Lol, I watched this before work this morning and was thinking the same thing. Now you got no lighter and it's not like you can stop at 711 and buy another, couldn't have just lit some paper on fire and tossed that? haha

Wow, just watched ten minutes of Earth: Final Conflict. The acting is horrible and from what I can see, the storyline is not up to snuff with other Roddenberry productions. Actually, it was his wife who found his notes and worked on the series. Wife should have just left it be, gulolol.
Maybe I'm getting tired of watching shows, like SG-1, SG Atlantis, Xena, Supernatural, etc. that I'm numb from it.

My wife and I enjoyed the Morning Show with Steve Carell and Jennifer Aniston. It's a series about a morning talk show dealing with sexual assault/harassment. It has a lot of recognizable actors.

StarTrek Discovery is as good as I've hoped for. Phillopian Georgiou is an uber, supreme bitch, but she can totally be a bitch, 'cause fuck me, she can kick serious ass and take pain/punishment......... just picturing her in bed. She is Star Trek's bad ass Mulan, Gulolol.
And, Tilley wasn't as pathetic as I thought she could be. And crybaby, damn, she's got an awesome smile.
The two queers (what they want to be referred as) aren't cutting it. Not because of what they are, but the way they interact.
Saru, reminding everybody what Star Fleet is all about.

Final Season of Supernatural. I don't watch it all that much, but it's on when I tune into CTV's Space Channel.......... the episodes seem like they're full of 70's music. To the point, it's a bit annoying.
Anyone who follows this series confirm?
EDIT: Just got to the end of the episode. "And, cut." Was that a mistake or put in there on purpose.........

It's an awesome show if you're into paranormal stuff. They have good long story arcs and your typical monster of the week.
Tonight's episode was their series finale. They've been on the air since Sept 2005 and filming in Vancouver since 2004.

I stopped watching after season 6 iirc, when kripke completed his main arc, then when they kept going it seemed crappy, but I hear it got good again, I just never got into it again
I don't watch shows often but a couple of my friends kept talking about The Boys and I already bought a year of Prime anyway for Covid shopping so why not.
It's a refreshing take about superheroes. I ended up watching all of it. Can't wait for the next season!

Damn, that's right. I got Prime for the shipping, but shipping is so bad, I'm not sure if it's worth it anymore. Might as well check out the videos. Get my money's worth. I have yet to watch anything on Amazon Prime.
.........thanks, I'm gonna give it a go.
