The car I learned how to drive and got my Learners / N in was one of these corollas in dark green. Lol

That thing had well over 300k km back in 07’ too.

The car I mastered manual in was a 92’ corolla too.. so corollas somehow are a part of my life…. (Plus the two ae86s I’ve owned)

Probably most of us here on the board touched a corolla or driven one at some point.

The Allroad wagon already has more power than a GTI at 261hp, are you thinking of the Golf Sportwagen? The Golf wagon comes with a 1.8T 170hp which can get close to GTI numbers with a tune.

I seem to remember them in silver or gold. Rarely do I see the dark green or black like yours! Even had the thrill of enjoying a gold one as a courtesy car before :fullofwin:

Very nice ... !! Yes, my bad, I was thinking of the VW Golf Alltrack wagon. Then your Audi Allroad can get close to Golf R Estate numbers with a tune on yours ... but at 261hp ... that's plenty as is! Great choice.

Once the warranty is over I will look into a tune, but right now the 2021 engine with the 12V MHEV hasn't been cracked by the tuners just yet so there's nothing available yet anyways.

I'm shocked Honda hasn't bothered adding AWD to the Accord/Civic. So much better than an HRV...

No one would buy Acura if Honda added AWD to the Accord. I bet the Integra will get AWD to differentiate itself from the Civic.

Nissan went AWD with their Altimas. Standard too I believe.

Any idea how the Mazda3 AWD has been selling?

JDMDreams 11-08-2021 03:59 PM

Aren't a lot of cars awd only bekuze CaNADIa? Most BMW Benz don't come in rwd. Even sports cars are awd, who buys an awd convertible....... or M5 e63 FeelsBadMan

Platform isn't designed for it, besides the HRV/CRV sells better than their sedan counterparts. No reason to offer another SKU to keep on dealer lots

I don't see this happening simply due to cost of adding AWD to the civic chassis. The floor of the Civic is quite flat, in order for them to do this they would need to tweak it quite a bit.

When's the last time you saw a new Altima? those things aren't selling at all. Also no manual, just CVT.

Mazda doesn't post sells figures on different trims so sadly it's hard to say. I can ask Mazda PR to see if they got info.
