Technology has affected sports in all kinds of ways and baseball is no exception. Players in the dugout aren't playing games on those tablets. Scouting reports, replays, and scenarios. Can't imagine how baseball would have evolved if technology like this was around in Bambino's era.

Just realized that Blue Jays are 1/2 game out of the last wild card spot. Seattle is 2 games out. NY is losing in today's game. Can this really be happening? Jays have to win this one, though.
Merryweather in. Since April 13th due to injury. Finally off that 60 day IL. Hope he's back to normal. A big gamble by Montoyo in a tie game in the middle of a run for the wild card race.

First loss in a while. Can't win them all. Tomorrow is a double header starting at 1:30 and the fourth game on Sunday at 10:05 am. Losing to the last place team hurts, though.

Baltimore all of a sudden turning out to be an awesome team.
Blue Jays dry cleaning bill gonna be high this week. Ryu shitting the bed again. Last night was just as bad. Down 5-2 end of 2 innings.
What a waste of all those wins against New York.
The Jays' hitters need to come through. Make up for the shitty pitching.

Charlie Montoyo goes to the mound to talk to Hyun Jin Ryu. Hyun Jin convinces Charlie that he’s okay. It was 5-3 for the Orioles at that time. Should have pulled him then, cause it’s 7-3 now. When wins are so important, forget giving your starting pitcher that choice.
Good thing the Jays can score. It’s now a 7-5 deficit.
Because it’s a double header, each game is only 7 innings long.

Pitching right to the last out was shitting the bed. This game was not won because of great pitching. Great fielding saved this game. Romano was holding his head when outfielder ran over and caught the ball with no room for error. Prior to that it was the third baseman who ran hard to catch a foul ball. He was in the shift and outfielders were deep.
Still announcers defending the pitchers. A win is a win, I guess.

Jays are, as of right now, in the playoffs. Tied with the Yankees for that last wild card spot. Take the second game and solidify the position and don't look back.
I'm starting to worry about the Oakland A's and perhaps the Mariners. They aren't that far behind the Jays. Let's hope the starting pitcher for game two doesn't give us Jays fans conniptions

Just watching the in-between-games presentation of the 9-11 incident. I can't help but to tear up. It was so sad. The images and the way the story was told. Damn, why do people have to be so shitty........... the terrorists. I don't think that word terrorist is strong enough. I never lost anyone on that day, but I felt like I did.
On a side note, I hope people stop attacking Muslims. It's not them, it's extremists who are narrow-minded and have nothing but blackness in their hearts. nuff said.

Wow, another comeback. Jays were down 1-0 top of the 7th and final inning. Vladdy single and Bichette homer. 2-1 Jays with no out!
Akin, the Orioles' starting pitcher was going all the way with a no hitter.................. then Blue Jays put an end to that. Pitching change. Akin out!

If any of you are interested in following the Jays, it's on Sportsnet on cable, MLB Blue Jays Baseball on Sirius XM both Internet and live. They're also on local radio Sportsnet 650 AM. I get terrible AM radio reception, so listen to it via RadioPlayer app. Same with News 1130. Thing about streaming Sportsnet 650 is that it is very unreliable, as in, hit or miss. Blackouts and whatnot. I was listening to the first inning this morning and I was surprised. Then, all of a sudden the coverage changed to something else. CBS holds the rights and blocked it, I guess.
Oh, Vladdy hit his 43rd. Tied with SHohei Ohtani. Damn............

Steven Matz not doing well at the bottom of the 2nd. Bases loaded with one out. 6-1. Maybe he'll pull out of this inning with minimal damage.
Pitchers are the weak link on this team.

Back to back doubles and now it's 9-3. with one out. That one out was due to Valera getting caught between first and second, lol. A classic rundown.
