2021 Blue Jays Have watched or listened to every game so far this season, and the Jays continue to be a great team to follow. Great players, management team, coaches, and scouting staff. A young team with no fear. Then there's the great coverage - Buck Martinez, lol and that Hazel Mae. Home games at TD Park in Dunedin, Fl. Really weird to see Canadian advertising around a US ball park. I really enjoy the TV and radio commercials during the coverage. Toronto, such an awesome city. Not as awesome as Vancouver area, but a close second, for me. Win or lose, this team is fun to watch. |

Hope to see the blue Jay's make the playoffs Yankees are struggling and Ray's too |
Blue Jays so good |
Hey MG1, Don’t know you personally, only from your posts, and I just want to say I’m glad you are back and posting again.... |
It's like quiting a bad habit. Alcohol, drugs, porn, etc. RS was just taking over, lol. I had to convince myself I could do it. Quit cold turkey. BTW, it wasn't because of dukes............ he's not that important (how's that for a back slap?), gulolol. |
Back to the Jays........... They'e such a tight knit group. Gotta love the way they have fun out there. Montoyo is a damn good manager. The bull pen and that explosive offence. As a sports franchise, they are about as far away from being like the Knucklheads. I took everything Canucks related down in the man cave, save the framed "Heart and Soul" memorabilia. It's all Blue Jays and BC Lions now. Will not bother supporting the Cannots ever again, until aquavulva leaves the organization. This after following the Canucks since before they joined the NHL. |
what's wrong with porn? |
My covid life has been consumed by baseball. Blue Jays and Mariners (via MLB.tv), pretty much every day. |
Ever since I put up the Vlady Guerrero Jr. an Ace (mascot) Funko Pop in the man cave, the Jays have been on fire. 10 runs yesterday and 8 so far today. Hyun Jin Ryu is da man! |
Man I miss living in Toronto and going to Jays games. 500 level scalper tickets for $10 bucks after class :fuckyea: This team could really do something over the next couple years. They have the talent, they just need the pitching to be consistent through 162 games. So far so good this year, even with all the injuries they have encountered. |
I've been referring to this chart to see how the Jays' injury situation compares to other teams. It's not pretty. https://www.fangraphs.com/roster-resource/injury-report |

Jays are white hot right now. However, I'm also paying attention to Shohei Ohtani having a monster season. Guy can't stop yoking dingers and if he can get his control reined in he's going to be a threat when pitching. Shame his bullpen is shit. |
Speaking of baseball, where did kunoman go? Last time I heard, he was coaching baseball in china. |
I forgot about tonight's game. It must have been delayed a bit. It was the top of the 9th when I turned on the television. Blue Jays were down 5 to 3. Long story short, the Jays made yet another amazing come back. Marlins coach decides to intentionally walk the Blue Jays' two best hitters loading the bases. The batter at plate hit twice in the game. Gambler or what? It's the bottom of the ninth, so a hit to the outfield ends the game. The ball is hit to the outfield. The outfielder purposely drops the ball. There was no point, as a throw wouldn't make it t home plate. After losing 6 games in a row, four of which were really tough losses, the Jays sweep the Marlins in their new home field in Buffalo. I cannot wait to see the Jays play in Toronto again. |
Not like last night's 18-4 Blue Jays win, but todays game looked like the Jays would lose. 1-0 for Boston top of the ninth with two outs. Toronto's Vladimir Guerrero Jr. comes up to plate and just destroys the ball. 451 footer! Fuck the Green Monster. Guerrero leads the league in home runs. Manoah, former Vancouver Canadian pitched a really good game. Doesn't look good right now, but the Jays are an exciting team to watch. If Guerrero doesn't make it into the All Star game, Major League baseball fans are as blind as a wuhan bat. Oh well............ tough loss. Next up, the damn Yankees. |
Vladdy is on fire. Just got back on top of the league's home run stats. Two home runs on two hits. I think the Jays are leading in most first pitch hits in the league. Blue Jays have a scary top of the order line up. As far as their pitching, the rotation is okay, but the bull pen is not that great. Manoah, who used to pitch for the Vancouver Canadians, looks very promising. If he can avoid getting suspended. Yesterday's 9-0 was fun to watch. https://www.mlb.com/bluejays |
As a pitcher, why would you even try to get away with it? Umps are checking for illegal substances on a regular basis. https://theathletic.com/news/mariner...g/GGsrM7AiM4q8 One of the Jays' players who was interviewed recently, said that hitting has changed because of this mid-season crack down. |
Haiyaaaaaaaaaaaaah............Is the game tonight not televised? I'm forced to watch the game on You Tube. Man the announcers suck monkey balls. Maybe I'm just used to Buck Martinez and company. Just like Foster Hewitt, Jim Robson, Jim Hughs, etc.............. we are so spoiled. Maybe it's because it's You Tube. Frick! I hope this is a one time thing. Fullshit, I say. |
watching Golf's Greatest Rounds... shhhhhh. |
LOL............... Blue Jays leading 10-1 at the bottom of the 8th and the Rays put an outfielder in as a pitcher. Basically gave up and saving the bullpen for tomorrow. Outfielder was pitching loopers at 45 mph. Loads up the bases, but only one run comes in. Everybody laughing, but some fans didn't like it. Outfielder starts playing with his pants and belt like he's going to reach for some banned sticky substance (yeah, that didn't cum out right). Throwing pitches like a girl who's never thrown anything before - leading with wrong foot, etc He struck out a player. Hard to hit loopers when you're used to 95 - 100 mph pitches. Then there was the Balk Choi comment made by the announcers. Manoah, the Blue Jays pitcher, balked when Ji Man Choi was up to bat. Now fans want to order chinese food, lol. |
3 all star starters for the all-star game, not too shabby |
I was hoping "Pretty boy," Bo Bichette would squeak in, but that'd be asking for too much. It's a shame Vladdy decided not to enter the home run derby. Shohei Ohtani is in. He's in the lead so far this season with 30 home runs to Vladdy's 27. https://www.espn.com/mlb/stats https://www.mlb.com/news/blue-jays-2...ng%20concludes. Shohei can't be Japanese, can he? LOL, so tall. Dude can pitch, hit, and runs like the wind. The Babe Ruth from Japan. https://www.mlb.com/news/shohei-ohta...ory-vs-orioles |

https://www.sportsnet.ca/mlb/article...mlb-star-game/ Back in 1993, Toronto had 5 players in the All Star Game. 1993 was the year, our Blue Jays won back to back World Series. |
