TBC is one of the best ones. Not sure if they have double karts though. I haven't been there in ages.
SPEEDERS Indoor ProKarts is EV. I never been there before, but it must be nice not smelling like gas after. lol

Speeders is ok, I went there once when it was pretty new and was surprised at how bumpy it was on the straight, and it's kind of a buzzkill having to come in, stop and switch karts for your "3 races" whereas TBC just lets you run for the full time limit.

If you're a bit more serious about getting your kid into karting or a better way to test the waters. I'd look into putting him in a kid kart in Chilliwack @Greg Moore Raceway aka WCKC. Several companies run a kid kart program for kids aged 5-7. They provide everything needed to get your kid on the track. Tim Madonna @Madonna Racing is one of the more reasonably priced one that I'd recommend.
My boy started at 6 in 2 stroke racing and he's been racing for a whole year now. The field is strong and competitive starting at the cadet class but kid kart is great fun for 5yo +. They run 35-50cc and can still adjust the throttle to your liking. You'll never look at indoor karting again. PM me if you want to know more.
