I use this stuff once in awhile... it's also great in the house for getting rid of water spots on glass surfaces that won't come off with regular cleaners: https://canadiantire.scene7.com/is/i...id=573&hei=499 |

locally. nope. I use rain x, easy enough to reapply. |
I think some of you guys may not be applying the aquapel on properly? I've been using this for many years, only have had to do it once a year - normally apply it around October/November when raincouver hits (lasts a good 6-9 months, which is adequate to get through the rain season). Clean the windshield well with whatever window cleaner, then dry the window up. Then apply the aquapel evenly throughout, and buff off with microfiber or a couple paper towel. Then you should be set. Try to not use your wiper fluid to clean the windows once it's applied as it "wipes" off the coating. Aquapel is most effective on highway/freeway driving as it doesn't really bead off until you get to 50-60km speed. |

I was on older TELUS plan. $75 for 10GB. It was originally $60 a few years ago when everyone went crazy for it. Today I moved to an EPP. $56 now for 15 Gb. Was it worth waiting on hold for an hour? I guess maybe? She said there were no better deals available right now and obviously I didn't push very hard so I just said sure. |
my wife can get 20gb for $50 through work on Rogers |
How does that help us? Hahaha |

Just an FYI I picked up some Aquapel from 1010/Volco in Coquitlam yesterday. I must have caught the owner on a good day because he gave me 5 for the (regular) price of 2, so I paid $23 something taxes in for 5. YMMV of course, but he just gave it to me I didn't ask for a discount lol I took off the rainx that was on there and re-applied Aquapel, I haven't used the stuff in years. Pros: Much easier to apply than RainX in the sense that it's just wipe on, wipe off buff a little bit; far less glare at night, wipers don't 'streak' momentarily like RainX does. Cons: A lot less cost effective per unit, you'll need 1 for every windshield/window. Harder to apply than RainX in the sense that you don't really get room for error, and "less effective" at low speeds as it doesn't bead water in the same way rainx does. All in all though, I still prefer Aquapel to RainX, especially for night driving. |
Chatr mobile resells Rogers and have some decent plans.. Called Rogers to cancel and they dropped the price on my plan from $65 to $50 per month and gave me an additional 12GB monthly to keep me as a customer. Call took about 12 minutes. |

I emailed 1010tires to ask whether the stock was old or defective and here is what they wrote back: Very sorry to hear about your experience. You are correct in terms the applicators were old stock but then we didn't charge allot of money for them. We will refund the price of one applicator. Hope one day you will buy tires and or wheels from us. :rukidding: BrokeBack So I guess when their wheels are on sale, I should expect the wheel to have chips and cracks and be okay with it because they didn't charge a lot of money for them? lol |
^lol, that's shitty. The guy that sold them to be shook each one to make sure they were liquid. |

I think the stock is really old. when i cracked mine, the smell was very weak. The new ones smell like ass and almost burns your nose. |

Yeah I didn't intentionally smell it. But the regular stuff is so strong it hits your face when you are applying it. |
I haven't picked mine up yet, maybe I should see if I can cancel it |
I feel a little less bad about missing out on the sale now. |
