What the hell? Kirk is one of the best hitters in the AL. He gets hit by a pitch and the NY bench was looking to challenge the call to say he did not get hit. If I were them, I'd be happy he got a free base out of it.
Then, to really mess things up, Kirk, probably the slowest runner on the Jays' team tags up and runs to third on a fly ball. With Judge, of all people fielding the ball. Man, he was moving fast for a big guy.
New York is so explosive, no lead is safe.
On a side note, the usual blonde server chick with the pony tail is not working today at the game. She serves the people in the VIP section where the Home Plate Lady lives. Instead, they have a smoking hot brunette working there. This is when I wish the game was covered by Apple TV+, lol.

Yup, I don't think there's a team in MLB right now that can win a series against them. It's almost unfair. The Jays can't keep up with them. If Manoah can't get it done tomorrow, Jays will get swept. As for Baltimore, I think they are on the way up. Not the crappy team of the past. They are a better team this year. Red Sox, then Tampa Bay Rays........... still about 100 games left. Strange things happen after the All Star Break. Maybe the wheels will fall off the Yankees' bus and Toronto will go on a tear..........
For crying out loud, please stop airing those Windows 11 ads........ so annoying. Why is it it Microsoft fails at commercials.
Captain Kirk doesn't need to run, he just hits it out of the park. Mexico represent! 10-2. I feel a comeback in the works.
OMFG!!!! A Vlad & Dad Bobblehead giveaway for first 1500 fans.......... I need to move to Toronto.

WTH????
I missed most of the game today. Watched beginning and thought to myself, "Sweep!" Not so Yuseful Kikuchi was doing what he does best........... shit the bed. Checked the score as soon as the movie I watched ended. I was pleasantly surprised. I record all games, but rarely watch any after the fact. Gonna watch the ending of this one. Must have been quite the finish. Anyhow..................
EDIT: To be fair, Kikuchi only fell behind 3-2 and actually struck out The Judge. Pitch count was so high in such a short time.
Damn, we actually beat the Yankees!!!

Gausman starts for Blue Jays today. He's the Ensign Kim of MLB. Everybody has him figured out. He's like a book. Apparently, he has made adjustments for today. We'll see.
Cease and Desist!
Chicago's pitcher looks intimidating. Yikes. His numbers for the season are impressive. Three up, three down.......... let's hope we don't hear that too much. Get the pitch count high on this guy and deal with whoever comes in afterward.
Go, Jays, GO!!!

Hats off to Espinal. Most players would be breaking or throwing bats after all those stupid calls by the home plate umpires. It's almost like a conspiracy. How can you call a strike when the ball is clearly more than four inches off the plate?
Solution: Roboump?
It's not reliable, but it has got to be better than this guy, lol.

Not sure if it was planned by Charlie Montoyo, or not, but hitting coach, Guillermo Martinez, who rarely goes out to give the line up card to the umps, gets ejected before the game started. Montoyo has been ejected a league leading 4 times already, lol. Gotta love it when coaching staff sticks up for their players. Pitching coach, Pete Walker, was ejected the day before. The Jays would have easily won those close games if it weren't for the bullshit calls. Yesterday's game sure changed, though. Home plate umpire did a way better job of making calls. It's almost as if someone said, "Okay, let's not screw with the Toronto Blue Jays too much today.......... heat's coming down on us. We'll screw 'em over next time." I so wished Espinal would hit one out of the park, so he could turn around and give a big smile to Eddings. It was blatant, for sure. I feel for Guerrero Jr. When they consistently call strikes when the pitches are far off the plate, as a hitter, you are basically forced to swing at them. You wait for the pitcher to make a mistake. The officiating has affected the play of the Jays lately. I don't think I've ever seen Bo Bichette lose it like he did the other day. Plus, that failed attempt to steal third. Are some umps gearing up/practicing to throw games? World Series final game would bring in a huge amount of money............ yeah, been watching too many shows. Gulolol.
Thanks to the Bichette bomb — an inning after a solo shot from Alejandro Kirk got the fun started — the Jays avoided a sweep at the hands of the White Sox. And it was especially gratifying for Bichette, who the previous night had repeatedly slammed his helmet in frustration in the Jays dugout.

The umpires have been horrible this season. That umpire Eddings missed so many strike calls in the extra innings game on Tuesday between the Jays and the White Sox.
64 percent accuracy on strike calls? That's like a F grade on a report card for Asian students hahah.
Here is Edding's score card from the Tuesday game:

I had withdrawals yesterday. Series opener against Brewers at Milwaukee this evening. Game time is at 5:10. Alek Manoah is starting pitcher. Hopefully the umps won’t ruin the game and stay invisible like they’re supposed to. Jays have players who are injured. Nobody’s going to overtake the Yankees, but the Jays gotta keep ahead of the Rays and Red Soxs. Boston is 8-2 in the last ten games (same as the Yankees), while the Rays are 3-7. Jays 4-6.
Go, Jays, GO!
Rowdy Tellez!!!

Five game suspension for Martinez? Like, wow.................. apparently, Martinez made contact.
Written apology to the umps - forced? I'd refuse to apologize and just take the punishment and watch the jays win the World Series. It's not like he bitch slapped anybody. I think his finger brushed the ump by mistake. Ump didn't react like a soccer player, but same effect. Such little bitches. /rant.
I think this is the first time I've seen a game from Milwaukee. One day, when I have cash to burn, Imma gonna visit all the major league parks in NA. This field is perfect for hitters. 3-0 for Jays with no outs top of the 2nd.

Totally Yuseless game today. Just find someone from the bullpen to get 'er done. This Castillo dude is pretty good. Jays need to find more relief pitchers who can give 3 to 4 good innings.

Blue Jays now in third place. Laundry budget is high right now. Starting pitchers shitting the bed. Announcers, please stop saying, "Tellez has found a home."

Kevin Gausman vs the Red Sox. Home game. NY in first place, Boston in second place 11 games behind, and Jays in 3rd place 12.5 games behind. Tampa Bay Rays are tied with Jays.............
No time to screw around. Every game is important heading into the all star break in mid July.
Boston comes in with a 7 game winning streak.

Gausman doing a good job. Jays have suspected that opposing teams knew what Gausman was going to throw. Adjustments were made in today's game. Gausman is wearing what equates to clown shoes. An oversized glove. Ball is totally hidden before the pitch.
Is it a fast ball or is it a splitter? Some pitchers give it away by the way they stand on the mound. Jays were pretty sure it was the ball being exposed. Details...........
Not sure how many key players from other teams are affected, but it must make a bit of a difference. Especially members of the bullpen.
LOL, what looked like a routine out turns into a double for Devers. The fricken ball hits second base. Then Devers gives Espinal a Vulcan Nerve Pinch....... okay, shoulder rub. Baseball players are so touchy feely, gulolol.
Wow, 7 scoreless innings by Guasman. The last strike out pitch was his 110th pitch and it traveled at 97 mph!!

Wacha and Stipling eerily similar in pitching style................ makes sense, I guess. They were roommates at one time.
Kind of like the RS twins, TOS'd and dukes, gulolol............. okay, maybe not.
Side note. Refsnyder, not your typical Korean name, but Korean born, Kim Jung-tae, was adopted at the age of five months. He was on the Blue Jays roster in 2017. Refsnyder hit a two run homer today.

Wow, what a fantastic finish to the game. Jays down 5-4. Bottom of the ninth, Jays' best pinch hitter, Captain Kirk, hits a single. He's replaced by the fastest runner the Jays have in Zimmer. Bichette hits a single bringing Zimmer to the plate. Tie game........... then, Guerrero comes to the plate. Everybody in the ball park is on their feet, even the blonde hottie server comes out from behind the wall to watch Guerrero at the plate. MG1 gets up to activate the Guerrero bobblehead (never fails, lol). Vladdy hits a single. It's a walk off win.
Vladdy gets a double gatorade/ice shower. No surprise. He told reporters prior to the game, "This is OUR house!!!" Damn............ can they sweep baseball's hottest team of the month tomollow?
Today's game was a prime example of Canada's vaccination rule affecting the outcome. Boston's best closer was not able to be in this series. Usually closers are good for one inning. Pitcher who gave up the tying run was pitching his second inning.

Five games in four days against the Tampa Ray Bays............. caution catchers, keep those game cards close, 'cause Kiermaier is in town, gulolol.
Jays not gonna sweep these guy, but 3 out of 5 would be acceptable. It might be a Yuseless game today, though with Kikuchi on the mound. I would have loved to see Vladdy knock someone out of the ballpark yesterday, but it died down as quickly as it started.
Go, Blue Jays, GO!!!!!!!

Jays ahead 5-1 bottom of the 3rd. 5 hits, 5 doubles, and 5 runs.......... so far. Bases loaded with 2 out. With 5 games in 4 days, starting pitchers really need to last more than 4 innings. Espinal up to plate and....................

Double Header today. Game one just underway. Second game at 3:07 pm.
Jays' starting pitchers are: Guasman, then Hatch.
Wander Franco off the IL for Tampa Ray Bays. Dangerous player, for sure, but had to mention him here, because of name. I wAnder what the history is behind his name. Wander is a German name for builder? Butt, dude is from Dominican Republic. anyway...................... 9-2 win on Canada Day was awesome.
EDIT: WTF? Just looked up and saw Kevin Gausman down on the mound and in considerable pain. He got hit in the leg by a line drive. Never heard Rogers Centre be so quiet.
