Fifty starts at 3. You can find me in the club. Section. |
so ...how was the concert, y'all? |
Solid 6.5/10 lol.. funny that my son’s first “concert” was Fiddy. |
how old is your son? Was the show 'family friendly'? |
He’s 9. Not exactly but meh. |
Concert was good, as usual the acoustics in BC Place was horrible, you could barely make out his lyrics. Didn't stop us from belting out each song in their entirety though. Our section had some diehards :lol I'd say it was family friendly outside of those hot dancers doing lap dances for 50 and crew. We laughed how the all black Escalades pulled up behind the stage 10 mins before concert end for 50 to jump into and GTFO of Vancouver the minute the show was done :lol Ran into Honda at a beer lineup as well, good to see ya buddy. |
Honda picked you out of the line because you had your Pina colada out? |

My GF thought it was funny I could get recognized by someone from a forum, Revscene at that. My buddy's at the game were shocked this place still even existed. My geek card is at 100 here. |
I noticed the Escalades too lol. From backstage to the backseat in .4 seconds. |
Straight off the stage to the airport lol.. although when leaving on Beatty we saw an Escalade that looked similar but his was all murdered out so presumably wasn’t him lol Funny running into Mike after I needed his protection :lol crowd was actually pretty civil albeit like 1/3 probably left after 50 Was discussing with the group we went with and I give Doman credit, the general consensus over the last 20 years of listening to local sports radio is that millennials are the lost generation of lions fans. This was DEFINITELY an appeal to the milenialis as was evident in the crowd Dat pop though when Many Men was the first encore.. well done lol |
Crowd was civil but bloody hell was it a Surrey/Abbotsford fest. People were smoking darts on the concourse, people sitting on the floors out there smashing beers, it felt like a nightclub. Ran into so many friends I haven't seen in years, it really did feel like half the city showed up for this event. Great job by Doman. |
The concessions were a complete joke though but that isn’t on doman it’s on stupid Pavco When I saw you we had been waiting for 40 fucking minutes for a beer. Felt bad for the single guy working there as he was apologizing to everyone. Said it wasn’t your fault bro, terrible planning. How much revenue is lost in situations like these. It feels even worse because it’s just the tax payer funding the piss poor management. They knew it was sold out weeks ago |
Not sure where you were but the longest wait I had for a beer was maybe 3 minutes. Ordered them from some place selling taco bowls etc. on the 200 level. |
Ohh 200 level, too fancy for me lol I was in 420, we definitely chose the wrong line but at that point it looked like every one was going to be 30+ |
It was an exciting game between the Lions and Stampeders. -watched in on TV last Saturday. Vernon Adams made some clutch throws for TDs. The throw to Hollins was pinpoint accurate. The defense made some big stops in the red zone to prevent the Stampeders from getting a TD just before halftime. As for the BC Place concessions, I say that from the posts that people mention about the beer sales, nothing has changed in terms of the incompetent management at PavCo. LUL I remember back in the day working at B.C. Place at the concessions in my early 20s as a side hustle. The "mandatory picture ID" check sign at the beer stands meant that every customer needed to show ID. Some customers were fine with showing ID. Of course, many customers were angry with this policy. Explaining to some customers the "show ID" requirement was a job in itself. I'm thinking " Buddy, I know that you are old enough to be my grandfather, when you order a beer. My job requires me to check for picture ID". The American customers were the most generous customers with their tips. Some customers at the beer stands were so angry about the picture ID requirement, that one time I asked my supervisor, "please put me in the back of stand to steam hot dog wieners for the next B.C. Lions game". LUL |

I was hitting the concession at 201 all game for the $5 beer and food menu lol.. lineup only took about 10 mins each time. theres another $5 stand around 225 or 227 btw |
Looks like a solid win today against #1 Saskatchewan Roughriders. |
BC Lions lost to Winnipeg 25-0 and Adams Jr went down with an injury in the 4th quarter. Winnipeg not even that good in the standings. Come back home Rourke !! |
Welcome back kiddo! |
Welcome back Rourke! He could start in the game this Sunday against the Blue Bombers. Farhan Lalji @FarhanLaljiTSN · Follow There is a real likelihood that Rourke could start this Sunday vs #Bombers. The deal is for 3 years, through 2026. @CFLonTSN @TSN_Sports @BCLions |
They're trying to say they're sticking with Adams Jr too??? I mean he's been really good too but Rourke was some next level shit. Too many cooks in the kitchen! That's really exciting tho... still a crime that Rourke couldn't stick on a NFL team with his talent. |
Was kind of surprised it happened this quickly after Nathan cleared waivers. I thought for sure he'd try to stick it out to secure the NFL pension but at the same time I don't know if he would have gotten another chance yet. Glad to have him back and seeing him get meaningful reps in. |
Unfortunately ... kiddo shat the bed. 8-25 162 yds with 2 int. He was NOT ready! |
