From his interview ... “I definitely don’t have it in me to go anywhere else. So, it'll either be here, or it'll be taking time to recalibrate, reflect on the seasons here,” Dubas said Monday. “But you won't see me next week pop up elsewhere. I can’t put them through that after this year.”
So not exactly that he won't be GM for another team but that he couldn't put his family through this. But I hear previous poster, he felt shafted by Shanny and now they are both on the same level. It's his perogative, he's young, bright, and sought after. I'm sure he got a raise and a promotion as Prez.
But I wonder if now the shoe is on the other foot, if he and his new GM will be in conflict and if Dubas the Prez will hold final veto rights on trades.
Fuck legit the one person that can send Maclean into a spin is Bettman (maybe Bieksa now) He’s a lawyer through and through. Gotta respect a guy who can hold a position like this this long and have remained so professional
