Aston looking good, f1tv team putting them up in 4th or even 3rd in the constructors championship.

Edit: even ted Kravitz from sky putting them 3rd

Watching D2S, the one thing you’ve always gotta give Ferrari, is Ferrari is Ferrari lol

Like in the first episodes when they are all looking at the new cars and basically laughing at Mercedes car, Ferrari would neverrrrrr come to the track with a floor that looked as “functional” as Mercs did last year. I guarantee you in back rooms there is as much discussion about the form as there is the function of their designs. It still always has to be a Ferrari

Finished season 5 of DTS, definite improvement over season 4 which I didn't finish

Hopefully with Vasseur at the helm, they stop with their stupid blunders cause they totally had the car to compete with Red Bull

I think it’s going to be Alpine for me this year. Need a midfield team to care about. Will still be pulling for Alfa/Sauber to put in some good drives too

Race week! Get excited!

Alex Albon essay, so good.

This isn’t to throw shade at anyone at Red Bull Racing or Max or anything, honestly. But the car is set up in a unique way that is built around the lead driver, and that’s Max.

I like a lot of front end and nose. I’ve been teammates with George and Charles and I’ve always had way more nose than them. Basically think front-end sensitivity. And when I got into the Red Bull … I mean there was so much nose on the thing that if you blew on the wheel the car would turn.

Nothing I love better than a good players tribune article.

thanks for the link, always liked Alex and that was a great story. Many people forget he was close to winning/more podiums a couple times but taken out by Lewis

really hope Williams improves and he get's another shot at one of the bigger teams in the coming years.

sonick 03-02-2023 08:45 AM

Tbh Albon might be a better 2nd driver than checo in retrospect.

blkgsr 03-02-2023 10:19 AM

checo just signed a 2 year extension last year, so this year and next year. could see albon take the seat again in 2025

sonick 03-03-2023 07:46 AM

Ohohohoho Alonso P1 for FP2

:awwyeah:

EvoFire 03-03-2023 12:56 PM

All that shenanigans with Piastri and McLaren/Alpine, looks like Alpine might be the marginally faster car.

dark0821 03-03-2023 09:20 PM

not a LH fan by any means... but this interview... sigh...

Just his body language, tone, you can see he is desperately to stay positive

hopefully he is just practicing for his oscar and Merc are sandbagging the shit out of the car.

I just want someone to dethrone max lolol, so... go Alonso and Lecler....

Great68 03-03-2023 09:24 PM

This year could be the first time I ever actively root for Alonso...

The Producer 03-03-2023 09:50 PM

i won't. the Strolls are massive POS's.

only consolation is I hope Alonso makes Lance look terrible all season.

supafamous 03-04-2023 05:50 AM

Alonso leads FP3....oh boy. Will it be? Can it be!?

sonick 03-04-2023 07:28 AM

Exciting qualifying despite the top 4 being exactly as expected.

The potential pace in Mercedes is promising, especially if there is more potential shortly with upcoming upgrades.

Will be exciting to see Alonso fighting it out in the front if the Aston can keep up in race pace.

Great story for Hulkenberg's return getting into q3.

Stoked for tomorrow.

Spoon 03-04-2023 03:28 PM

Having the Lewis vs Alonso grudge match play out will be worth it for me already. If Ferrari can compete with RB, that's just a cherry on top.

StylinRed 03-05-2023 07:35 AM

Man I was worried that the Hype train for Alonso was at risk after Qualifying, but fuk yeah Vamos Alonso!

The Producer 03-05-2023 08:08 AM

as predicted - stroll almost wipes him out before the race even starts. what a moron.

alonso's biggest fight this season is going to be not getting DNF'd by his boss's son

StylinRed 03-05-2023 08:50 AM

lol yeah that was scary

At least stroll has a bit of an excuse with his injuries, but I see him being a dnf risk even after he's all healed up

sonick 03-05-2023 09:25 AM

Alonsooooo podium!

Ricciardo smiling seeing the McLaren fuckery

MarkyMark 03-05-2023 09:30 AM

Man RB is going to dominate this year

Hondaracer 03-05-2023 10:33 AM

Pretty boring race and Ferrari gonna Ferrari lol

Amazing performance by Aston though Damn.. If they can keep some reliability in this car no reason they can’t fight for 3rd or even 2nd if the car performs this well

mb_ 03-05-2023 01:13 PM

Aston Martin is now the works Mercedes-Benz team :lol
