Speaking of Montreal, I'm thinking about heading over next year for F1. Does anyone know when Montreal tickets usually go on sale?

I wonder if it's shortly after the race or towards the end of the Season (December)?

Montreal ?!? The road surface conditions in that city is a total gong show. How the hell can you drive anything other than a unimog in that pothole infested place ?!?

It at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

LeClerc 0.3 - 0.5 seconds faster than RBR for all the Sprint qualys, crashes on final lap LUL Nothing bad but Sainz got held up

He got P1 though

"The tires were gone anyway"

Same. When do tickets come out? If a RS member can drop in the chat when they release yea thatddd be grreeaatt

StylinRed 04-29-2023 09:07 AM

It'd be cool if Sprint races were opposite of the main race in every way

So like have the sprint races at Night for day tracks, have the grid in reverse order, have the track go counter clockwise for clockwise races, and have completely different tyre options

Oh and not sure about the fueling requirements but hopefully they're only carrying fuel for 17 laps, so they'll be a lot lighter

The Producer 04-29-2023 04:39 PM

Thought it was weird the sky team were defending Russell saying they couldn't even see the damage and calling max a sore loser considering that gaping hole :lol

SkinnyPupp 04-29-2023 05:38 PM

Max stayed on the outside line on probably the worst track to do that lol

It was inevitable, George did well to not give in to what Max was attempting, which imo was forcing him to give up the position to avoid a penalty. Neither guy's fault, just really tight racing on a really tight portion of the track.

SkinnyPupp 04-30-2023 04:14 AM

Checo having a great race, looking forward to seeing some drama at the end if Max doesn't get his way and the team tells Perez to slow down or something

SkinnyPupp 04-30-2023 04:39 AM

Will spoiler tag just in case

Spoiler!

Yah boring race was hoping Alonso could catch Leclerc at the end but not enough laps.

StylinRed 04-30-2023 03:00 PM

Ohh it didn't look as bad from ocons onboard as it did from the broadcast :lol

Good showing from Alonso shame he couldn't nab Leclerc in the end but still a good job

sonick 04-30-2023 03:16 PM

Local F1 content, Lance Stroll shows Ted Kravitz around Revelstoke

Yeah that's the only other thing that 'almost' happened. But as soon as Alonso got within 1.5 seconds of him, he put 3 seconds between them LUL

Great68 04-30-2023 03:43 PM

That race was so boring I feel asleep on lap 12 and woke up to Kravitz's yelling about people in the pit lane

CorneringArtist 04-30-2023 04:52 PM

Apparently Ferrari's issues with pit strategy are hereditary. 6 Hours of Spa was this weekend as well.

This Baku circuit is kinda meh to begin with

Then you’ve got RB pulling out of DRS range even without DRS on those laps without if following the safety car and that’s a wrap

OTOH, the Indycar race at Barber was a blast. Beautiful track, tight racing, and a tense 1-2 battle. The drivers were working their asses off.

sonick 05-04-2023 02:44 PM

lol this will be interesting

Hondaracer 05-04-2023 02:55 PM

Didn’t Richard Hammond drive one of the old Renault F1 cars on an empty track and he could never get the hang of it even after dozens of laps?

And he’s pretty much a pro driver

Here is the said video, working his way up to drive the F1 car

And then there's Tom Cruise who could operate anything.

Manic! 05-04-2023 03:32 PM

The whole top gear Richard Hammond thing was an over exaggerated bit.

The Producer 05-04-2023 03:53 PM

i think it's in this thread already but worth posting again for non F1 drivers in F1 cars
