There was contact with the goalie on that preds goal that couldve been challenged, they just didn't want to risk the challenge going the other way.

Desmith was great, calm and collected and even reigned in those rebounds. Woulda been nice to get him the S/O but huge win either way.
Great adjustments made by Toch, and Miller had a beastly game, would nice if petey could get him some support though

That's why goalies are averaging taller and taller every year. Height advantage.
To be fair Demko has better rebound control as well.

Some key points for me in the game was scoring on that PP... McCarron runs DeSmith.. that was 1 PP where we had to make them pay, we don't score there or the PP doesn't look dangerous, they have license psychologically to start bullying us. I wish they had shown a shot of McCarron skating back to the bench after the goal, whole arena would have been like fuck youuuuu that's what you get.
Anyone catch that scrum later in the game too when he tried to make Big Z flinch, fuckin joke of a tough guy. They played a video I hadn't seen before in the arena of Big Z's face over scenes in old Arnold Schwarzenegger movies it was pretty epic.
That 5 min being downgraded to a 2 was massive as well... Joshua out of the game and 5 min PP I think that game is lost.
Canucks need to shoot more, they're passing up so many looks all the time.

| The Official 2023/2024 Canucks & NHL Thread
Coach Tocchet mentioned to reporters after game 3 that the team needs to play much better in the neutral zone.
Preds forwards were able to skate with speed to through the neutral zone for easy entry into the Canucks zone.
They need to make adjustments for sure for game 4.
No easy entry through the neutral zone.
Wanna see Myers or Big Z make more big hits on Preds forwards in the neutral zone.

Why don't they do game 4 in the arena? Is there an event previously booked?
AND everyone got a white playoff towel ... for $15 ... c'mon, where else can you get that kind of entertainment for that price anywhere !! MORE pleeeze.
PSA - At first, I thought wouldn't it be better viewing level on the upper bowl ... but they dropped the jumbotron/screen so if they do open it up again, get your ticket fast before the lower bowl sells out.
