Did Boeser participate in any of the skills event? I skimmed through a bunch of events I found on YouTube but didn't see him in any of them.

He did not participate. They changed the format this year where only 12 players participated in multiple events and earn points along the way with the winner getting a mill.

McLelland out in LA, Kings had a terrible month after a blistering start to the season. HC of an NHL team is a tough tough job! But McLelland is strange in this way, he has a short shelf life/effective period. Starts well with any team but then at some point team falls off a cliff as if the players flipped a switch and tune him out !!

How do they decide who gets to participate? Kind of sucks for the players that don't get a shot at the 1mil.

I liked the skills part more. None of that "dude perfect" crap. Also fans booing Kucherov was funny. I bet he was partying and drinking the night before. Probably hung over and on shrooms or something the day of the skills competition. lol.
