Good choice, seems to have a lot more personality and honesty than Horvat tbh... I didn't have a big problem with Horvat but I felt like he was just towing a company line all the time and it was grating as the failed to show any heart so many nights.

Trying my best not to make it sound weird, but I googled his wife just to see if the woman beside him was the same person, and since it was, I was able to confirm it was him. lol
Then asked for a pic and he was cool about it. He was injured at that time and had a big walking boot on.

I think this was a strategic move because of all the rumblings of reuniting the brothers etc lol
Harder to up and leave when you’re the captain of a Canadian franchise. Not to say it won’t happen down the line but if you want to be great, having a C on your sweater is a big part of it
Think I might cop a new Hughes jersey now

I'm worried that the Canucks are in full scramble politically/internally... lots of rumblings of Petey refusing to sign long-term and if that happens watch Hughes demand a trade to play with his bros... be the beginning of some real dark ages (not that they're bright to begin with).

Horvat wasn’t worth what he got, especially to this team
Canucks have never had a 1A dman, you can really pay Quinn market value and still consider it a decent deal imo
Fewer and fewer teams in this league have that top tier dman

It will probably be another short term 3 to 4 year deal similar to Matthews. Enough to take him to UFA and then he will test the open market.

As a player, it's more beneficial to take a short term contract that takes you to 28-29 and then in your prime years sign a front loaded long term contract that carries you until you retire.

Don't you just put [img](picture url)[/img]
?
That's how I've been doing it for 19 years...
There's also an image icon you can click which then prompts you to put in the image link, and then the [img] tags come in automatically.
