^ you might be able to do that if you're trying to post someone else's photo, but if you want to show your own car for example, then you'll need something like imgur to upload the photo, get the picture url, then use the url here.

There's also an image icon you can click which then prompts you to put in the image link, and then the [img] tags come in automatically. | That doesn't help anyone trying to upload their own pictures

I wouldn't say he was best coach .. at any time/period ... he won 1 Cup (with Lidstrom, Zetterberg, Datsyuk, pretty well all-star team). Finals with Anaheim, finals with Wings and lost to Pens. There are others like Quennville (oops, what happened to him) with multiple or Jon Cooper with back to back. I like the Wings and even I thought he was a bit over hyped. As for Olympics ... just glad his coaching didn't lose the gold medal for Canada. I think most of us could have coached that team to a gold medal ... haha

He was the best coach and that's why when Toronto hired him and paid him 5 mill a year. Don't you remember when he became available all the teams wanting him because everyone thought he was a step above all the other coaches? This is way before Jon Cooper so he shouldn't even be in the discussion. Quennville of course was at the top as well but Babcock was considered a step above him since it was claimed he knew how to get the most out of his star players which is why the Redwings won the cup. Also don't forget about him coaching team Canada in 2010, Winning the world jrs and and the world championship's which is the only coach that has won all three so far.

I know that people thought he was the best ... what I'm saying is that his record doesn't put him in that category. He lost more Cups in the Finals than he won. He was always seen as a bit pompous ... but I guess you need that confident edge.
And I'm comparing him to other active coaches today so Cooper does count.
It's my opinion ... you're entitled to yours.

I'm talking the past and why people used to think he was the best coach in the NHL it has nothing to do with today and I was personally never a fan of him, I always thought he was a cocky prick and every that has come out shows that's the case.
I think after these current actions he doesn't belong any where in the NHL and I so hope he gets fired and blackballed for life. In order for him to be a coach in today's NHL he needs to change everything about his style, just like Torts did. If Torts didn't change his style he wouldn't be a coach in the NHL today.

Not to belabor the point but I hear you. I was a Wings fan during the Lidstrom era. And Babcock couldn't get it done back to back.
I mean how did he do in Toronto in the years he was there? And then he got fired. That to me is quite telling.

Not a fan of Babcock or anything but you get the feeling if it wasn't this it would have been something else and anything he did was going to be blown up by the media all season long so it's probably for the best that he got out now.

Sounded like he had some weird team building exercise idea that some players were cool with and others weren't, it wasn't like he was caught jerking off to the photos or something lol (although you never know with sports coaches)

and the worst part about it is he did this outside team facilities as well. I'm so happy he's gone from the NHL and this guarantee's he will never be back as well. Fuck that guy
