These Jimnys were tempting to me...until I put some serious thought into one and realized the idea of the car is more appealing than what it actually is.

They are cheap inside-out, ride rough, and have gutless powertrains. Your love for the Jimny needs to outweigh the inevitable wrath your spouse will develop for subjecting him/her with the poor ride quality. People already shit on Hyundai and Kia Fortes here, yet the Jimny is even worse.

That one, Enterprise has a ton of those.

I would want a jimmy to fuck around in the woods. Got stuck behind a shitload of broncos last week up west harrison because they fell through the snow. We just floated through.

The Jimny doesn't really strike me as the kind of vehicle you'd expect to be without compromise.

To me, it's a little like the Ariel Atom. Downsides all around, but maybe ultimately worth it for experience highlights that it's so good at. My friend used to have one, he even commuted to work in it most days. I loved driving the thing.
