my coating was done by the dealership, i think they wanted $1000 or something but i was able to get it down to half that. it worked great up until now, i already feel the beading effect is going away after just a year. you get what you paid for :heckno:

The dealer offered a $1500 coating, now yours for $895. No thanks.

My M3 has CS2 Titanium and its held up over 6 years. Granted, minimal mileage as I only have 35k on the car.

I had Gyeon put on the X3 and it didn't hold up as well. The coating was about all gone by the 3rd year and about 30k

Where did you get the CS2 Titanium done?

Was that a consumer or pro grade Gyeon? Who locally is using Gyeon? Just curious.

If I'm gonna have to guess, it's consumer grade stuff. A friend that does detailing did it for me because my first child was just born and I had no time for dealing with it.

Slammed it, because I can

JDMDreams 06-12-2024 01:08 PM

I supposedly have Gyeon on my car, only a few months old but doesn't seem to bead that much already.

It's stock, it's on air and BMW lets you hardpark it :nyan:

So it seems like the fancy sponge tiny bottle ones aren't the best

roastpuff 06-12-2024 03:14 PM

None of the ones he bought are that fancy. The Adam's was the most expensive one he used and it's not that durable compared to CSL, CQ etc.

trollface 06-12-2024 06:10 PM

Can I ceramic coat my body

donk. 06-12-2024 06:47 PM

Most of them are garbage, especially that avalon king shit.

WRAP IT !!!! (White) then ceramic coat the wrap. THEN PPF the wrap…. And ceramic COAT THE PPF

That way you’ll know that NOTHING will penetrate this plastic barrier of excellence unless….

You drive in Richmond
You come to Richmond
You park in Richmond
You dine in Richmond
You even so much as THINK about Richmond

Your wrap will shred faster than the hulks clothing

Anyways who cares about that. WHAT DOES YOUR SHANGHAINESE WIFE think about her Baooooo MAhhhhh!!!?!?!!??!

She likey likey? I bet she’s all over that crystal cum lever now

She thinks it's too big lol.

We had a BMW before already, so it's not like it's the first time. She doesn't really care about the niceties of the X5 compared to the X3. What matters is there's more room in the front seat with the rear facing seat behind her and that we aren't paying for gas.

I drained the battery today. Got home with --- showing on the battery range left and I put 40km on it on a 50km rating. Not bad actually, cause no one ever gets the real rating on these things in Vancouver.

You can't ceramic between wraps, it won't stick. I don't have time this week to get a quote. Probably next week.

Badhobz 06-12-2024 09:02 PM

It’s super nice inside the new x5. I tried to get one for spy balloon but she said she prefers her 2018 RX. Not sure why, she just wasn’t impressed with the x5. I was going gaga over it. Especially with the b58

Sorry missed your message. It was done at Autohaus, the guy is no longer in town. Got sick of Richmond and moved away I guess

huh the X5 feels just fine to me as well, didn't feel luxury the way the GV80 does

budget feeling switchgear and non sensical infotainment
stiff ride
cheesy <<<<<<X5>>>>> 'light' on the passenger side of the dashboard
B58 sounds like Toyota V6 on the inside but a bit smoother, is ok fast in the X5

i was a lot more impressed by the Grand Cherokee in the donk past time review thread

It's nicer than the X3 inside. There wasn't really much cross shopping.

There's only a handful of PHEVs on the market and the X5 makes the best case for us.

Land Rover and Volvo lol.... no thanks
The GLE is kinda ugly
Mazda CX90 is great value, but lots of issues on a first year product and it seems like they are having ppl beta test for them
TX500h+ is stupid expensive and they just came out
Cayenne SE is even more insanely expensive.

And that's kind of it. The X5 package is the best all arounder out of all of them

Dats only because you created two little creatures now.

Should have been hitler’s spicy beetle in the driveway instead of the luftwaffe finest engine maker

JDMDreams 06-14-2024 08:35 AM

If they were the best engine maker they wouldn't have lost the war:lawl::joy::troll:

Badhobz 06-14-2024 09:04 AM

Not even related. Germany lost cuz they invaded russia at the wrong time. Or even if they would have just left Stalin alone. He had a solid grip on Western Europe.

Too greedy

bcrdukes 06-14-2024 10:46 AM

why is my engine leaking and burning oil like a bitch, hmmm? best engine maker my ass

jk its just a Chrysler engine :alone:

Badhobz 06-14-2024 02:19 PM

I was bored and wanted a new daily. The ES is so dull I'm falling asleep driving it to work so I tried to buy a 2006 Corolla XRS but the fucker ghosted me. YES that's right, the SELLER, who wants to sell his CAR. GHOSTED ME... like fuck you

Then I thought a MURANO CROSS cab to troll the wife would be HILARIOUS. LIKE EPICLY HILARIOUs. That island fucker trolled me instead with his price and cunty attitude.

So I gave up, tried that integra A spec (good, but not 48k good) tried to bargain for a Type S and proceeded to get laughed out of the dealership.

The internet algorithm somehow knew I was looking for fun cars and an ad popped up for GLI. So I went in on Wednesday, to look at the GLI initially I thought it would be adequate for "fun" and daily while saving 8k vs the GTI.

NOPE. GLI is okay, but the MK8 GTI adds a shit ton of refinement, handling and performance over the mk7 based GLI. Plus the plaid seats really got me. Also, 2024 is the last year they'll ever make a GTI/R in a manual so if you want one, get it NOW!

Anyways, I took delivery today. Spontaneous money spending accomplished

Congrats!

Is that your wife in the photo? She looks cunty. :suspicious:

Badhobz 06-14-2024 02:24 PM

yeah she's a high-maintenance cunt bag. But not my wife... wife's best friend?

whitev70r 06-14-2024 02:27 PM

2024 GTI ... did not see that coming ... from a country mile.
