Interesting about the build quality, I have low standards so maybe that's why I didn't notice. I think the new car is nth to write home about, but defn smaller panel gaps/better finishes than my Tesla. I thought it was same same, kids love the new ambient lighting though.
Me + Wife are both android phone users, so the last gen PP with the CarPlay only (No android auto) support kinda sucked for us, so the new wireless Android Auto was a welcome upgrade.
The HVAC now all have physical tactile buttons instead of being buried in the old gen touch screen was also a good upgrade.
I cant tell you about rear seats at all because I just realized I never sat in them, not even once... my kids havnt complained at all since the upgrade though, they were dazzeled by the glass roof, though my daughter did say the model 3 roof is still miles better. I guess the smaller rear space doesnt affect elementary kids?
Trunk space wise, I don't think it changed at all (as long as you dont look at specs). I was cheap, and actually used the last gen rubber trunk tray, it actually lines up 95% of the seams, correct width and length down to 1/8in, just the wheel well shape is slighty different. I dont think it is any deeper?
I will comment that I think the rear visibility did decrease gen over gen though, and you do lose the full carbon trunk, which is a bummer~~
Other than above, the other 2 major upgrades were
the speed
the EV range
**doesnt hurt that my 2021 held such good value that upgrading was essentially just a small jump rather than taking on alot of negative equity~~
EDIT - Did your parents get 2 keys for their 2023 Prius Prime?! This pissed me off lol... only 1 key lolol, they said 2nd new key will be given within 6 months lol | No wonder, you got the old PP with the tablet display. Mine old one was a base model SE so I had tactile HVAC buttons. My RAV4 Prime and my parents PP both came with 1 set of keys. Expect the second set to come in by first service.

Little itty bitty nail, how bad could it be?
Ah well fuck.
Glad I didn't drive on that to Vernon.

Enjoy them a lot. It's pretty much neck and neck with Wildpeaks from my experience when it comes to performance. Both on and off the road. I find the AT3's (non LT) quieter than Wildpeaks.
It was between Falken and Toyo for me when I was shopping for A/T tires.

i have the LT and they're heavy and loud (but i'm new to truck tires)
did well this past snow storm tho, early freezing rain was still a bit challenging
if you look up the official website it'll show you the tread depth, but i recall P-rated had shallower tread blks

I have the Nokian Outpost nAT on my 4runner. https://www.kaltire.com/en/tires/out...s#productSizes
I picked up the LT version, and it's slightly noisier than stock, but I don't feel any extra harshness. It was great in the deep snow (I could chuck the 4runner almost as well as my old outback). No idea how it does on ice though.

Well guys, I finally gave in… it was my birthday and I decided for the first time ever to buy a brand new car as a mid-life crisis present for myself. Sort of. Common sense and practicality and bending to the future made the decision easy for me, took delivery of this guy:
“At least it’s not white” is my new mantra.

I did not see that coming at all.... aren't you against tesla or ev in general 68style? How did you betray your own logic? I'd like to hear your thought process
And iirc you said model 3 is ugly and model s has the best lines which I agree. The ultimate betrayal
