This is a nothing burger, just Iran showing face for the consulate bombing in Syria.
I doubt anything will happen further from this one, unless Israel decides to do something stupid.
Iran is also showing how though the Iron Dome certainly works, it's extremely costly. Those interception missiles cost roughly $100-$150K a pop to take down relative cheaply produced drones.
Good thing Israel has US taxpayers to pay for those

Just to be technical, Israel didn't strike the Iranian embassy building itself. They took out the Iranian military building next to the embassy.

if you think iranians give a shit about Iran (islamic republic), then you are dead wrong. iranians care about the lives of fellow countrymen, they are just hostages of their own government and couldn't care less about the geopolitical stuff their government is engaged in.
also it wasnt even the embassy that was bombed, it was like the building next to it. also the missles shot into israel were just for show. everyone knows the iron dome would ward off every single one.

I used to have an Iranian coworker, and she was super upset 1.5 yrs ago when Mahsa Amini died under Iranian police detention. If I am not mistaken, she even went to some of the local protests as well.
We don't talk much about politics at work, but the Mahsa Amini death was one of the few times when she mentioned anything political at the office.
