This season's version of the Coilers is even worse than last season's team in terms of team defense.
More turnovers than a bakery! Although Skinner is not a good goalie, I would not put all the blame on him for allowing the 12 goals in the past 2 games.
Defencemen like Darnell Nurse and Evan Bouchard are just not good enough.
Their defence sucks! You really wonder if McDavid is gonna want to sign an extension with this team instead of becoming a free agent one day.

There are a couple of key injuries like Ekholm but yah, their weakest link is goalie, hands down. Don't know how Draisatal and McDavid puts up with the sieve. How the hell you gonna win anything with a guy whose % and stats are like that??

Mcdavid and leon didn't do anything in game 2 when LA kept on pressuring. Leon going to be making 14M next yr as well.
Can't blame goalie making 2.60M and 1M respectively.

Skinner is like a Luongo, albeit Luongo was an infinitely better goalie
But they are the same in that you never know what’s going on in their head, and once they let in a shitty goal, fans and players alike are holding their breathe as to how they will respond.
Skinner has never won anything or proven he can overcome those demons though so you let 2 bad ones in, the team has zero confidence a save can he made in a crucial time moving forward

Strange happenings with the World Junior Players Sex Assault Trial Judge declares mistrial in London hockey case

London, Ont. – Justice Maria Carroccia has declared a mistrial in the trial of five former members of Canada’s 2018 world junior hockey team.
A mistrial is a trial that is not successfully completed due to a significant error or problem that prevents a fair verdict from being reached.
Justice Carroccia ruled that media may report on her ruling but may not publish more details about the decision. A media consortium is challenging that publication ban.
A new trial is scheduled to begin later today with a new jury of 14 members.

What a game between the Habs and Capitals.
Both starting goalies are injured.
Montebeault left the game in the second period with a suspected left hamstring injury.
Thompson left the game in the third period after Dylan Strome collides into his own goalie. Montreal scores their fifth goal just before the goal.
Left knee injury for Thompson.

Oilers are going to be eliminated in round 1, they are so bad! Their defence was already pretty shitty then Ekholm goes down. Now with their goalie tandem playing like AHL goalies. It's just going to be whether they lose 4-0 or 4-1 to LA. Another wasted year for McDavid and Draisatal.
Kings up 3-2 on PP with Doughty scoring .
Then Edm Connor Brown Scores 3-3.
9 secs later, Kings score and takes the lead back.
