I left Telus last month for Rogers and it's insane how much better reception is. I never got signal at a large amount of areas at my work and now it's not a problem. I didn't mind Telus for the most part but their coverage is terrible for whatever reason.

I was told to get a new sim card, reset / reboot thinking it would get better. not sure if that is still a legit method.

Tried Public mobile previously and was getting zero signal indoors most places. Then hopped onto Bell for 5G access thinging it'll improve things but that didn't do anything.
Had to go back to Fido for sometime. I hopped onto Freedom for their $35 North American plan and surprisingly getting better reception than I found with Bell/Telus

I had a bad time with Virgin. Call quality was better when there was reception, but reception was so patchy.

SIMs don't affect the RF your phone sees.
