bcrdukes 11-18-2024 06:55 PM

I'm looking for a 27"+ monitor used for casual web browsing and work (i.e. Revscene / Word / Excel / Powerpoint etc.)

Badhobz 11-18-2024 07:10 PM

I think typically for what you get with the kitchen aid set from Costco when they have them that’s pretty tough to beat even in Black Friday. Might get just the base machine slightly cheaper but don’t have the conscience of the return policy.

There was one on sale for $320 a week ago, but wasn't looking into getting one at the time. Have to keep my eye to see if it goes on sale again.

Badhobz 11-18-2024 08:40 PM

Good on you for baking. But I honestly hate additional kitchen gadgets. As a chinaman my kitchen is filled already with so many gadgets and bs items

Rice cooker
Hot water boiler
Blender/juicer
Toaster
Toaster oven
Instapot
Grille
Coffee machine

I don’t want another item

I'm potentially looking at a new sound bar. My trusty Sony finally shat the bed after 9 years.

In my research buying a mixer last year, Kitchen Aid is just the way to go. There's a reason it's so ubiquitous

red kryptonite 11-18-2024 10:15 PM

looking for a new wireless mouse, my current logitech mx master is finally crapping out.

just get it at costco - they will price match if it goes down in price even if it's 6 mths ago.

If you like the MX Master, then just get the newest one, MX Master 3, there's not much in the market like it. We have 2x MXM3 and a MXM2 right now. They've moved to USB C and that was a huge kicker of the old one where you had to dig up a micro USB cable.

Badhobz 11-19-2024 08:34 AM

i was gonna wait for black friday to pickup that logitech MXm3 combo for my new mac mini.

Badhobz 11-19-2024 08:50 AM

you cant win honda with your lousy 27' monitor!! you need the advantage of multiple windows tiled across 49 inches of pure typing pwnage.

Who are we kidding here.

My tire pump died. This is the third one I've killed over the last 10 years. Do you guys know which one(s) will not crap out on me? Should be battery powered so I can take it with me.

unit 11-19-2024 09:08 AM

i use a dinky 12v campbell hausfeld inflator that plugs into your cig lighter and it's been awesome. used it at least 10x over the years and have had it in my car for at least 5 years no problems. i wouldn't really buy a battery one but that's just me. why buy one with a battery when you have a huge car battery already?

Dbone 11-19-2024 09:20 AM

I had one of those, and it melted. The one I had seemed fine for a few PSI top up, but nothing serious.
I then bought one that was a proper compressor that I clipped directly to the battery. That was great, but the seals have gone and it was bulky.

Then I picked up one of those CAT chargers/starters/lights/power banks. That was fine, but now the battery won't hold a charge and it won't go above 35psi (when I tow).

Ryobi tire inflator is really cheap compared to Milwaukee's. I've only killed 1 pump before and it was a $15 one from Canadian tire. Pump made sounds but didn't build pressure.
