My tire pump died. This is the third one I've killed over the last 10 years. Do you guys know which one(s) will not crap out on me? Should be battery powered so I can take it with me. |
i use a dinky 12v campbell hausfeld inflator that plugs into your cig lighter and it's been awesome. used it at least 10x over the years and have had it in my car for at least 5 years no problems. i wouldn't really buy a battery one but that's just me. why buy one with a battery when you have a huge car battery already? |
I had one of those, and it melted. The one I had seemed fine for a few PSI top up, but nothing serious. I then bought one that was a proper compressor that I clipped directly to the battery. That was great, but the seals have gone and it was bulky. Then I picked up one of those CAT chargers/starters/lights/power banks. That was fine, but now the battery won't hold a charge and it won't go above 35psi (when I tow). |
