Total team effort. 19 of 26 players on the roster played today. When I heard bull pen day, I thought, "No, not another Bull Shit day." I don't think a single Yankee saw a pitcher more than once for much of the game. 7 pitchers today.

Man, if Seattle wins, that's a long flight for both teams when they have to travel. Friend in TO knows someone with season tickets, saw that pricing starting at $600 / ticket!
Even baller RS ...few can stomach those prices!
And why were they doing the Champaign in the locker room after winning just one series ...seems a bit over the top, no? There are still 2 to go for the prize.

This is a significant playoff series win for these players. Most of these players have never won a playoff series. The star players like Vlady for example.
Blue Jays win a playoff series for the first time since 2016.
Guys like Nathan Lukes were clutch in this series with his hits and RBIs. Happy for this player. He paid his dues with playing many years in the minors.
Lukes does not need to ride a bus to minor league games anymore haha.

Really shows how the game has changed.

Upcoming games. Opposing team not known or the exact times, but at least the dates are there.
Sunday and Monday at Toronto.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at Seattle or Detroit.
The following Sunday and Monday are games 6 and 7 back in Toronto.

I used to be an intense baseball fan in the 90's in the Carter/Alomar/Olerud era... great pitchers and personalities back then I could name names forever... even Guzman or Borders or Hentgen...
This team has a similar feel to that one. Pretty exciting to dip back into it.
One thing I am super shocked by is how quickly the Mariners got good, I remember going down to Seattle just 2 years ago to and catching a game and they were fucking awful.
