Fans will definitely want them to tank but professional players are not built that way. They are playing for their teammates, contracts, etc. If management wants to tank they need to trade some guys...looking at you Demko (he clearly didnt get the message from tanknation)

Demko's not tanking for sure. He's fighting for his career.
Might be his last contract if he doesn't put up good numbers while showcasing he can play longer than a stretch of 10 games.

Don’t worry he’s just doing his usual “what if I stayed heathy for an entire season + playoffs, I could have won the vezina and a cup all by myself… what if… what… if….” torture to us fans.
