Good. I hope someone buys it and immediately crashes it into a tree. That’s the only thing this overpriced piece of shit deserves.

Those corporate porsche douchebags arent any better.
They priced the base beetle so high its almost double the price of the M3. During the e90 / 997 generation, it was barely 10-15k more than the m3.
Its stupid. Its Ugly. Its overpriced and poorly built.
It isnt even good to work on as half the shit you wanna do requires an engine out or at least removing that ugly ass bumper just to get at things. Thus they charge 900 bucks for a lousy oil change and 2k for a service B maintenance on a stupid beetle.

On the topic of oil changes, Porsche wants $700 to change the oil on my lowly 986 Boxster.
I'll stick to DIY and Walmart SuperTech 5W40 @ $28/5L jug

1. Hard to find buyers in Canada for that kinda coin, maybe they’re looking for a US crypto bro.
2. For that price why would you buy that instead of a ferrari/mclaren/lambo?

The 992 is fucking lame as fuck. I’d rather get an m2 and an old anything for the price. Total poser cars now.

For the price of that GT3,
You can buy a new or used roma and have enough left over to buy a cayenne.
Or buy all new carrera S, a M3 and a cayenne.
Maybe im a pleb to understand porsche market pricing

2. For that price why would you buy that instead of a ferrari/mclaren/lambo? | That spec of the GT3 is exactly why it's desireable, performance, manual transmission, back seats.
As Hobz has alluded to, if you want anything more than a M3 with those requirements, the GT3 Touring is the only thing new on the market right now that can satisfy those requirements. Which is also the reason why I want one of them.
You can go Ferrari/McLaren/Lambo but nothing they make satisfies performance, manual, practicality in the same way the GT3 T does. Is it dumb? Yeah. But Porsche knows it that's why they released the Touring with backseats for 992.2.

I think you’re bound to the m2 at that point. Which really is the m3. New m3 is an m5.

You can still get the G80 in manual, it only comes in RWD and you can't get it in competition trim, which means 473hp instead of 523hp.
There's not a lot of choices for a brand new performance car with stick and usable back seats as the Golf R has also been discontinued in manual. The below is really your choices in terms of performance levels
992.2 GT3 Touring >> G80 M3/G87 M2/992.2 Carrera T/Cadillac CT4/5 Blackwing/Mustang Dark Horse >> Honda FL5R/Acura DE5S/Toyota Grolla >>>>>>>>>> Subaru WRX/Hyundai Elantra N
There's actually quite a large grouping of them in the 100-200k price range (a fucking Dark Horse is 100k after tax and the Carrera T which is a glorified based 911 is 200k). Also can explain why the FL5R and DE5S has such a strong following as it's quite a bit stronger than the WRX in Elantra N imo.

Yeah but even at sticker you’re looking at 300k+ for that dumb ass car with a Subaru engine and a lousy beetle exterior. I don’t care if it drives well. It ain’t 200k better than the m3 by any means. Nor is it on par with a Ferrari v8 (although it’s neutered now vs fhe old one but it’ll still sound better than a Subaru flat 6). Like fuck off porsche…. It’s all hype. Utterly ridiculous and only reserved for douche bags and retards.
If you want the manual you also don’t care about peak performance or lap times as the manual will for sure be slower then the pdk. Then you say you care about the experience. Fine. can it compare to the old analogue experience of a 997 or a e46 /e90 ? No it’s still a modern car and it drives like one. Then what the fuck are you paying for here besides the douche factor!?!? That shitty sounding engine ?!? It sounds like a trash bin Subaru. Same tone throughout the rev range. It doesn’t even have a cam profile change over note. That garbage can just spins faster producing more trash white noise out of its ugly ass.

Calling the 911 back seat usable is a bit of a stretch.

I dont think anyone considers practicality on a 400k beetle, if you have that much money you have another car for that.
Majority of people buy exotics for clout, very few buy it for track use. Nothing wrong with that as long as you dont make excuses like “I like the way it handles” on city streets yeah ok.. So if the primary purpose is for a status symbol why would you buy a beetle for 400k when most people cant tell the difference between a base model boxster and a GT2RS?

It’s appeal being limited as a collectors item / Porsche enthusiasts is not necessarily a bad thing.
At the 4-500k mark it’s really about your personal tastes and lifestyle more than the car itself.
