My first thought was aftermarket taillights but the housing is different. Then when I passed it it was 100% a 3rd gen. Me want!

This trans (UA80F) issues are real but not as bad as the 6 speed UA660/760 that came before.
80F had some fluid path issues (not serious) and a tab that wasn't bent in place properly (serious).

We just forget that the old Toyota stuff had issues too.
The 2AZ FE 4 cyls from like 08-12 all need rebuilds

I like how youtube keeps recommending beetles to me. I also like how everyone seems to gloss over the numerous issues these cars have when waxing poetic about stupid ass beetles. Of course none of these are deal breakers, but still, thats quite a bit of $$ on top of the bore scoring, IMS, etc.
