Trust that I'm not making fun of you, but it's been a long time since I've seen anyone ask about buying a Single DIN or a deck of any kind for a car. :lol

If anyone sees the Ego cordless pressure washer with batteries on sale, please share.

I have a used one and it has been great. Just looking to add another one for the cabin instead of having to drag my tools and batteries around.

Badhobz 11-19-2025 12:54 PM

You probably could use less ego stuff

Spoon.ek9, do you need CD player on that single DIN? :lol

Can't believe Visions actually still carries some !! I'd thought you'd have to go to FB Marketplace but look here:

In fairness to him, my Mini has a single-DIN Kenwood deck. :okay:

pastarocket 11-19-2025 03:21 PM

Co-worker mentioned that he bought a Samsung TV. 65 inch QN70F from Bestbuy.

Their "VIP Night". An additional $50 off the sale price $1099.99.

He also got an extra year of warranty at no charge and a $110 Bestbuy gift card.

No, not crapping on spoon, good on him for getting something minimalist and all that he needs & nothing more. If single DIN deck has bluetooth connection to phone, that's all you really need, play stuff off spotify, and with a phone mount, you can use it for map.

Maybe this? https://gibbyselectronicsupermarket....eiver-open-box

Single din but you'll have a touch screen like your original product.

I'm disappointed. I was expecting a Continental.

SkinnyPupp 11-20-2025 02:26 AM

single DIN head units are another thing that we lost to non customizable garbage

I had this Sony head unit and it made music as joyful to experience in the car as it was to listen to.

Look into https://www.walmart.com/ip/Power-Aco...New/5055269224

S2k guys have all been using this now. I grabbed a 3 last time I was across the border.

AstulzerRZD 11-20-2025 10:37 AM

I've been seeing a lot of the Sony G/M80 in the US based S2k.
Built in 180W RMS amp with subwoofer out helps a ton because there's not much space to fit an amp.

The ballers have modded Sony AX units with full warranty.

Anyone see Westjet or AC announcing their Black Friday sales yet? I don't think I've seen anything, which is odd. Been waiting to book this damn Mexico flight.

-have not seen any Black Friday deals yet for Westjet or AC.

I found this deal on yvrdeals.com.

The flights are with Flair. -bit of a riskier airline though from what it is mentioned about Flair dropping routes without warning:

https://yvrdeals.com/vancouver-to-ca...-367-roundtrip

Flair Air is showing a few cheap nonstop flights from Vancouver to Cancun and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Prices start at $267 roundtrip including taxes (base fare only). The more realistic price is $397 roundtrip with a piece of carry-on luggage.

UPDATE: Puerto Vallarta has a few December dates available for $269 to $399 roundtrip. Cancun has a few cheap ones in January.

Availability for travel
Late October, November, December 2025

January 2026

The yvrdeals link above has instructions on how to book flights with Flair to go to Cancun or Puerto Vallarta.

Yeah man I loved that car. IMO everything from sports cars to sedans, their designs peaked in the 90's

Boys trip for a friend's 50th.

Playa Del Carmen, then visiting my uncle for a bit afterwards, who lives in Merida.

mikemhg 11-20-2025 07:20 PM

Fuck it, booked that Flair deal, that one is hard to beat.

Sitting in the very front of the ghetto plane :lol

Badhobz 11-20-2025 08:15 PM

I mean air travel sucks so much nowadays anyways, you might as well just treat it as a public bus and power through it. Just get on the cheapest flight possible. Take some pills, knock yourself out, and in a few hours you’re in a new environment.

That’s what i would do if I wasn’t attached. But traveling with the midget requires certain accommodations.

BIC_BAWS 11-20-2025 10:02 PM

Facts. Air Canada economy sucks so much balls that a budget airline in Asia (HK Express and JetStar) was significantly better smfh.

Air Canada's food also tastes literally 3d printed or what I would imagine printed food to taste like - like in those futuristic movies where you click a button and food comes out.

noclue 11-20-2025 10:16 PM

Generally economy is crap all around, westjet/AC will give cookies and internet at least. However when shit goes wrong they can recover faster than flair as they have more planes to substitute and can book you on partner airlines.
