Fucking hell........ I was on Hwy 1 early in the morning eastbound. I'm in the fast lane, 'cause I was going faster than everybody. I come up to this Ram 2500 truck. It's doing just under 100 kph. Nobody in front of him in both lanes. I don't honk or flash my lights, I just pass him. To my surprise it was some really old Asian guy, barely tall enough to see over the steering wheel, wearing glasses that looked like they were made from the bottoms of two coke bottles. Is there a term for a male C-Lai?
BTW, nice signs. I appoint you minister of highways.

canadians just don't get this. they should make it illegal to stay in the left like americans. i love driving american highways cause i usually pass people.  | |

I'd say 90% of the people actually follow this in rural areas.
Drive to seattle and in rural areas with few cars, even BC plates are moving back to the right after passing.

those signs should be on all highways. Also when there are three lanes on the highway (i.e. hwy 1 westbound Brunette on-ramp, hwy 1 westbound Mt Lehman on-ramp, Eastbound Johnson Hill) trucks should be not allowed on the most left lane.

i swear its a requirement on their drivers test to be able to piss off BC drivers.

Idiot drivers trying to control traffic.

Good point. Even simply driving 97 between Enderby and Salmon Arm during the summer when I was up at my ex's place was a chore.

This is so true... a lot of drivers here are complete idiots. I like driving down in the US, people understand how the left/right rule works... cops should give tickets here and will make annoying ass drivers learn.

I got to drive around on the highways of Florida between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami and I can tell you there were drivers going below the speed limit in the left lane. And there was also idiots doing 20+ mph over the speed limit trying to pass on the shoulder.
But I agree. Some of the drivers in the lower mainland are pretty brutal.

To my surprise, they can't drive for shit either. 
They change lanes without signaling and they cut off other cars like they're driving in China. A lot of cars keep to the right even when there are no traffic around (which won't make a difference for other drivers anyways) and a LOT of drivers block the left lane as well. I know our local c-lais can't drive for shit, but those stupid Americans aren't that much better either.
