I met up with him. He tried to sell my friend a pair of concord xi's. I brought my pair for comparison. Here's what I saw:

- exterior quality/material looked good
- some of the cut of the patent leather and stitching were off
- "23" sticker at the rear was off and not the same size
- the soles were ICEY

This is what got me, the seller's soles were icey, as if they just came out. Mine were already yellowing a bit at the edge. If they were B-grades, they would have had some yellowing as well - but they didn't. I suspect that they're remade models since the seller claimed the shoes were "direct from the same factory in china" where Nike licenses the manufacturers. Very suspicious right there :suspicious:


All I can say is be careful. Get a guy who owns the same pair of shoes for comparison.

Hardly. I had my pair listed at $350, then $300, and finally sold for $280 a couple of days ago. I'm sure they were going for $350 the week they released but prices have come down a bit since then. But that said, I'm sure prices will increase as time progresses.

Very happy with these white/black fire-reds V's. I originally have the white/fire-red black Vs from 2007. Although not much different, I love OG color V's in general.

My Knicks 1's came pre-creased. You gotta size down on these or else they're gonna get majorly fucked up.

The V's are fine - same leather as the WC4's, which is that really stiff leather. I've worn my WC4's dozens of times and they have no creases at all.

the guys with team Jordan I vaguely remember reading something somewhere, I think it was an article with Joe Johnson of the Nets, that they have access to like a hidden website or a program given to them by the company where they get to mess around with a bunch of different things on the shoes and customize them with almost limitless options. And when I say options, I don't just mean colors, I mean materials as well... so a shoe that has faux leather these guys could get with legit high quality leather.

When was the last fckin time Jordan shoes came in legit leather anyway for us regular consumers? like early 2000's ?? I know there's all types of faux and other higher quality synthetic leathers or whatever, but it's not real genuine soft leather
