i had e-coli last year for one week on the last week of november till the first week of december. It was awful, i ate one week prior at a korean BBQ @ landsdowne mall it must of been the beef there. It was HORRIBLE when experiencing 24/7 pain around the abdominals. Felt like i was pregnant and going to the bathroom every 30 minutes to see blood was not the best thing in the world. People might not know what ecoli is since they have not experienced it, it is basically cramps 24/7 aka (gastro intestinal infection) in which your intestine is infected lost 10 pounds in a week too
edit: i was audited by the health company and was told i can sue t hem did not want to but never will i ever eat at a dead korean bbq place again |

Grind your own meat whenever possible, or get your local butcher to grind fresh meat for you. Not only will it be safer, it will be 8 billion times more delicious. The negligence of some of these food processors are a bit nerve-racking.

Gonna have to let my grandparents know about that. They always get steaks from costco, although the south side one. They'll chuck em just to be safe.

Thats freaking 3 weeks ago. I think most of those steaks would've been consumed by now.

They are from costco, which one would assume they came in a huge pack. Huge pack+not huge family = meat in freezer. Although they are steaks, so you only really need to worry about the surface, why risk it for a 6 dollar steak?

And this is why it's shitty that the Canadian Government keeps cutting the budget of CFIA.

Dude its e.coli. Go to restaurants that don't serve garbage meat and you will be fine. Even if this meat is around as long as its cooked properly you are fine. For the record though, costco tenderizes their steaks by stabbing them, so its not just surface contamination you have to worry about.
