well shit, just got these winter tires and they are fucken awesome, ill leave them on till april since one year it didnt snow till mid february or april...

Hate dumbasses who are ignorant and keep arguing saying SNOW/WINTER tires compared to A/S tires don't make a difference. Seriously retards, I've seen so many morons in all forms of cars with A/S tryin to go up boundary gettin stuck and sliding. My snows just glide thru any amount of snow and stopping on ice just gives that confidence and without getting scared of driving in the winter weather.

Lol, same here except I didn't swap to my full on winter setup.

I have a set of summers, winters and a "mid-season" setup. Basically, 6-7/32 snow tires that I wouldn't use outside the GVRD or up a local mountain but are perfect for commuting in cold weather and light snow. Saves my summer wheels from wear and tear in spring/fall and saves treadwear on my winter tires when the roads are dry and during warm spells.

Same here, i was actually planning to take mine off end of January as it was relatively warm. Glad I got lazy and procrastinated. My winter rubbers really helped out this evening. The roads were getting really bad when I went to to pick up pizza. Saw a Bimmer's wheels just spinning in the icy roads while accelerating from a stop sign. Must be running on bald summer tires lol.

For those who haven't gone back to summer mode yet.. I think I this weekend is a good weekend to start checking out your summers (The temperature at night is still sub 10 so I think the conditions are still marginal for full on summer tires, my clown shoe's rear was a bit squirrely when I took it for a drive). If you haven't yet, at the end of last season, wash your summer wheels. Once they are cleaned and dried, apply a few coats of wax if you don't like brake dust (good wax adhesion will make washing dust off much easier during the season) just cheap 3M wax you get from XSCargo etc will suffice. Also check for any abnormal wear and fill them up with air to your car manufacturer's or personal preferences.
