1) Publicly choosing a no. 1 goaltender for a 2-wk tourney. Binnington deserved a chance.
2) Putting Murphy on the team and letting him play top 4 minutes despite his terrible play, clearly because Murphy is the captain of Spott's Kitchener Rangers.
3) Not being able to adapt when he is being badly outcoached.
4) Can't get his team to buy into his system.
5) Because he doesn't have a system.

Shoulda called an early timeout to settle the boys down after the 2nd goal in the first. regardless, Subban cant be blamed when the team is letting the americans have all those great shots at the net.

The truth is, as said by Bob Mckenzie... The US Hockey Program is coming up STRONG. Whether we like it or not... two years of near dominance at the WJHC. After the excellent play by the Americans from the Olympics, the next step was UP.

Canada was "suppose" to be awesome, but the Americans iced 3 returns..and John Gibson was a fucking wall again this year.

If he can continue his steller play in the JRs and lead into the NHL, the Americans look pretty fucking good for the next 10 years between the pipes

Subban cant take all the blame. The team played horrible, RNH didn't get a shot on net until the 2nd period, Murphy turned into the 7th Dman for a reason but got top 4 Dman min. How does Spott turn to Subban and say "sorry bud you are riding the pine today I am going with Binnington, even though you played the last 4 games and won"
Spott should've called a time out after the 2nd goal to settle his team down or yank Subban after the 3rd goal not the 4th.
I agree that Subban was going to be no 1 going into the selection camp but Hockey Canada just gets a man crush on players and they cant do anything wrong, that's why I think Subban got the no 1 position, Brossoit had a good camp but I guess he had a bad game against Russia in Victoria during the Subway Classic that kinda determine him on the short list and he would've needed to get a shutout during selection camp to make the cut.
