But honestly didn't it already happen a while ago. I'm not saying we're frauds or anything just saying that our amazing start is sort of similiar to the run we had with Bourdreau in the sense that we had one of the easiest schedules in the entire NHL to start the season up until just recently and during that stretch we only had a hand full of real challenges. Dallas, Tampa, NY Rangers, Florida, and Toronto. We were 2-3 in those games though yes we played very well against the Rangers and it could have very well been 3-2. Sure our overall team play is so much better and we're beating the teams we should be beating minus a couple few times but hey it's the NHL even the best team will lose against someone they "shouldn't" lose to on any given night. The fact is we got a lot better but we are not there yet to be a true threat. Playoff team yes but likely still a 1st round exit team for now imo. The rest of the season we have something like the 2nd or 3rd hardest schedule in the entire league, strap in boys it might get ugly.

What a great night that was! So happy I could be there for Lu. NGL I choked up a few times watching all the tributes and listening to his speech. I sat so close to the glass last night (lower bowl, 2nd row). It was cool to see Kuzy and Joshua's goals in the first period up close. Truly a different experience. I will say however, it's damn near impossible to see what's going on in the other end at that angle lol. I had to look up at the gigantic new jumbotron to see what was happening in the 2nd.

Oh, and I managed to snag one of the free bobbleheads! I was at the gate 5:30 on the dot. There were so many people, I was legit concerned I wouldn't get one. They were also selling them for $25 each afterwards (suckers lol).

It's tough because he gets half his points just from being on the powerplay... and at 5 on 5 he's getting absolutely caved in for corsi... I think there was a game a few games ago that the shot differential when he was on the ice was 9-0 for the other team?

The team is too deep at forward to have that much patience with his defensive game I think... he needs to make more effort... or Tocchet needs to just accept that's who he is and surround him with responsible linemates that will compliment his deficiencies.

The Sedins one would have been an amazing one to go. Sedins and Luongo during that era almost never did signings so they were hard to get. I have a ton of Linden ones and even managed to get the famous Kirk and Linden picture signed even though I had to attend 2 different signings to get it done. Come to think of it there's a chance I actually don't have a skate Linden jersey let alone signed which seems crazy considering how many Linden things I had. I did manage to get a black skate signed by Bure though which was pretty sweet.

Seems like an Eastern Canada/US thing ... maybe that reduces travel. Interesting that they don't have team names, they just use the name of city. So who will win a championship first ...
