LOL wtf. It doesn't look like the LC what so ever.
I wish they put a bit more retro cues in the design but it looks pretty cool as is.

I'd just say you are a car enthusiast with an opinion like that. The original 8 is absolutely timeless. This new thing is built for looking rich enthusiasts. Flashy and tasteless.
For the price of a new one, you'd be able to afford to maintain the original..........maybe....

BMW's aim for this one was directly at the higher end brands, said specifically they want to elevate their brand in the luxury segment to compete with the likes of Mercedes, Aston, etc. The original had a completely different purpose as to why it was built and what it was aimed at, back in a time when there were a quarter the models they have now. The new 8 to me is just another flagship showpiece for the super rich, not a sporty touring coupe the old one did so brilliantly well
