^ have you taken macm before? I don't think that is the case for this class....The coding seems "extra" to actually make you learn/think about the question.

I hope the quiz on Monday isn't too bad.

Want to get together to do the assignments and such?

ps. Today's quiz was near impossible to finish on time. The question wasn't hard, but impossible to complete within 10 minutes

I actually have my tutorial right before class.

I'll be in CSIL working on it from 2:30 to 3:30. Also working on it after class as well.

People who have taken BPK201 (biomechanics) - how did you study for the course? Tony's lecture slides suck, and I can't find any external sources (textbook sucks) to learn from.

Has anyone taken Psyc 100 with Day before? For his mts, what does he like to ask? Does he ask for names and who did what?

I took it 3 years ago so I don't remember much but know how to do most of the calculations he goes through in class + tutorial.

If I remember anymore, I'll let you know.

Anyone participating in the Microsoft Coding Competition in need of a partner?

My original partner isn't able to make it, so I'm looking for a new partner! If you want another person in your group (I think its a maximum of 3 people per group?) or just need a partner, let me know!

^ any link to some information on it? It sounds interesting, but the last time I observed some "coding competition", most of the guys there stomp on my ass on coding skills.

Here's their Facebook post on it: https://www.facebook.com/sfuiammsft/...252159/?type=1

It's later today and you would need to bring a laptop.

But yeah, I totally get what you mean though about other people being so good at coding. It's up to you though -- programming isn't everything (problem solving and doing it efficiently is more than half the battle).

I actually found the "textbook" to be really useful, he doesn't examine on anything other than what his textbook says, and his lectures are all based off the textbook

I'd recommend just reading it

Anyone recall what was on Newton's ASC102 map quiz?

Roughly how many cities/places did you have to name?
