Too bad most of the courses you and I have taken at ouc are not transferable to UVIC or I would be trying to get in there for next year aswell. :(

Edit: it also does not help that my average will likely not be over 73% by the end of this year, and I'm not about to toss out the last 2 years at OUC just to go to UVIC when I could transfer directly to RRU right in Victoria aswell.

From what I have heard it is some creapy, gross warehouse somewhere between riverside and flashbacks but I am proud to say I really dont know exactly where it is sorry. It's likely not that hard to find though if you were to drive around there.

Gunn 10-06-2004 09:46 AM

I remember walking by the place when I was drunk a few weeks ago... I think it's closer to Gotchas/Cheetahs/Club Med area

Its an Lawrence Ave, just down from Ellis (i think) about 2.5 blocks up from the lake, right downtown. Its on the same road as Cheetahs (strip club) and Club Med (bar).

Jen 10-06-2004 11:35 AM

Thanks for the info, guys. :)
A creepy gross warehouse? Great... :p

Oh contraire good jennings. www.bccat.bc.ca

All but 2 of my courses transfer directly into Uvic and they all transfer into UNBC as well which is my back-up plan.

73 % shouldnt be hard for me, i figure ill be all right, i ended last year witha 79% overall.

hampton 10-06-2004 12:12 PM

you only need 73% to get in out of high school. if you're transferring from another school, UVic only requires a C average on your 8 most recent university-level courses. (i've looked into transferring there too)

Shit totally forgot you are only a part time student, lucky for you I guess in this case, for me I will have done 21 courses at the end of this year and there will be plenty more than 2 which will not work at UVIC for me. :(

But does OUC count as "university level courses" ??? I really need to speak with a counseller and not wait any longer.

Danch 10-06-2004 01:56 PM

My mouth bleeds like the thompson river does water.

I just had 2 lower wisdom teeth removed today, however they were impacted and the process was more difficult than what the doctor thought he said, so I can't even drink water it hurts too much right now, so I'm doped up on tylenol 3's and valium, good god this hurts.

sorry if this post makes no sence, it's hard to think right now :(

as long as they have an equivalent course at UVic (bccat.bc.ca like Spoo said), it should be fine. (but definately talk to an academic advisor if it's confusing)

:werd: i'm stuck in it every day, i'll either go insane or get killed by some other senile driver sooner or later

there are shortcuts though, rutland road is almost useless for that now, enterprise is pretty much useless, springfield is always full, but up sexsmith to longhill and up over dilworth helps, or longhill to valley to high can get you downtown quickish

racer__X__33 10-06-2004 07:28 PM
